Our favourite restaurant in salerno, the tastiest pasta we have all ever eaten. amazing service and atmosphere, particularly enjoyed the open kitchen and being able to watch our food being made. Really good affordable prices for high quality food. Make sure to book a reservation or to get there early as it gets busy! 100% recommend!

Top carbonara. I'll be back just for this! I was disappointed by the bruschetta, especially the one with meat sauce because there was simple sauce instead of real meat sauce. Polite friendly service.

Best pasta (with lemon souse) and the best dessert (Bayles and raspberries). Complimenti alo chef! Bravo! Totally recommend!

Stopped here for lunch last month while we waited for our train back to Roma. Great, fast service and the pasta and wine made for a fantastic lunch.

The servers were not very friendly and all seem to be grumpy. I don’t really care what’s that all about, but it’s not very inviting. The food was alright… but not blowing me away either. The pommodori sauce of my wife was super, while my aglio e olio was .. meh. I’ve made better myself.. and when I go out to dinner in Italy - I want to be blown away. Not disappointed.

Che bontà!!! Ottimo locale per un pasto veloce, molta scelta di spaghetti tutti buonissimi e ne abbiamo assaggiati parecchi perché ci siamo tornati più volte. Amatriciana e Gricia su tutti, oltre alla scontata ma superlativa carbonara! Consiglio anche di provare le bruschette, la bufalotta è fantastica. Bravi ragazzi! Gentilissimo tutto lo staff! Prenotate con anticipo perché è sempre pieno.

Lunghe file di attesa, in quanto il locale è piccino e avrebbe bisogno di una ritinteggiata, il bagno, se non sbaglio "unico" e dietro alla cassa...era in pessime condizioni...il personale è veloce...prezzi...mediamente nella norma...piatti...medi...non ti fanno gridare al miracolo...tirando le somme...non credo che ci tornerò...

03/01/2024: The yummiest food in Scala! Our taxi driver recommended this place, so we took the chance & walked there - the service was excellent, very convenient that they are open until 10:30 to serve food. The waitress who looked after us was so hospitable and friendly. Plus, the food is amazing!! You must try their pizze menu, it’s so thick and well cooked. They even accommodated us to eat outside and put together a little, cozy table for us. Grazie!!

13/05/2024: Lovely traditional Italian restaurant, with welcoming / friendly staff. Ample menu choice on offer - I opted for 2 starters, the homemade Melanzane alla Parmigiana, along with the Insalata del Borgo (i.e. tuna salad). Both tasty & delicious dishes - I was not disappointed with my choice of meal. Lots of seating both indoors & outdoors. Beautiful setting in this medieval town of Pisciotta set on a hillside overlooking the sea in the distance - what's there not to enjoy! Highly recommended.
10/05/2024: I had lunch in this place which had reopened a few weeks ago due to the approach of the summer period....but it didn't seem like it. We had a fish-based lunch given the place and the first one I must say was quite tasty while the second one was the roasted cuttlefish they were overcooked, I didn't like them and the frying was just acceptable.
