I haven't seen it during the day, however the catering is excellent, fast and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Suitable for lunch or dinner for even large groups upon reservation. You can't miss a visit to the cellar with cured meats and fantastic salamis..... Mine was a group dinner with a set menu. Their red or white wine is also good. Well done and congratulations to the management, a little less compliments to the diners who all shout to be heard thus creating a lot of noise. Super recommended even if a little lost in the countryside of Coronella Ferrara.

I hadn't been back to Macellino for at least 8 years, but the hospitality and friendliness of Lorenzo, Stefano and Stefano's mother remained the same. The restaurant seats around thirty people but you need to organize yourself into groups of 10-12 people by making an appointment with the owner. What can I say... the cuisine is excellent with ingredients prepared in the structure. Cold cuts, pinzini, in vinegar and in oil, various sausages, grilled meat, etc.. all at or near zero km. You eat well and spend the right amount.

06/04/2024: Beautiful structure surrounded by greenery, near the walls of Ferrara, 5 minutes walk from the center of Ferrara. Very nice environment, nice comfortable and clean rooms, excellent restaurant and very kind and knowledgeable staff.
27/02/2024: If you want to feel truly pampered, go and eat in this restaurant, delicious dishes, location in a unique place, given that it is the only farm within the walls of Ferrara, you will be served by qualified staff... what can I say every time I come we always return to this beautiful city... thank you, you are special

23/03/2024: We ate divinely, a wonderful discovery here in Cento.
10/03/2024: Small restaurant but with high level cuisine! Fish is the strong point here but they do not disdain meat dishes or traditional Italian cuisine. Hospitality as accurate as the mis en place. Very precise explanation of the dishes. I chose the fish-based tasting menu with 2 first courses and 3 main courses. Well presented and with tastes and flavor combinations that made the difference. The name of the place is perfect: "greedy group" in which priority is not given to gigantic portions but to fair portions and with delicate and pleasant flavors to remember. The selection of crudités is fantastic. The wine list is excellent. Exceptional value for money!!! After a first approach to a new restaurant I always ask myself: would I like to go back? The response was positively immediate because there are so many other things I would like to try!!!
