Al Rifugio Pugliese da Muciaccia In Milano

A traditional Pugliese restaurant keeps up with the promise. Food is simple and truly homemade. I've had the best burrata ever. Made that morning, served in the evening. Perfectly smooth, soft, creamy, and mild. Orecchiette with 4 cheeses are amazing. Orecchiette with rocket and ricota lacked rich taste and creaminess. But overall, nice experience.

Dinner with 2 typical Apulian dishes: cavatelli with mussels/chickpeas and rice, potatoes and mussels. All good! But dishes not exactly as per the Apulian tradition in particular: rice, potatoes and mussels, which could be improved. Covered: good bread and excellent taralli, it's impossible not to dig into the dishes! Rosé wine on tap: very good. We concluded with cannoli and coffee: exquisite. Friendly staff, efficient service, nice room and very clean bathroom. I conclude with the receipt: 30e per person; all in all prices in line with the fact that we are in the center of Milan and we are eating good quality food. We will definitely be back to try the meat dishes, we recommend it.++++++

Orecchiette top and sausage really worth trying

I loved everything about this restaurant: the welcome, the atmosphere, the feeling of feeling at home. Not to mention the food: fantastic. I got the orecchiette with turnip greens, I can't wait to go back and try every type of orecchiette possible. Thank you, see you soon

Spectacular food, very friendly service and the restaurant is beautiful. It's small but that gives it an even better atmosphere. The portions are good size, 2 of us went for dinner and we ordered two starters and a pasta dish to share and it was a very good portion, I definitely recommend it

The best orecchiette in northern Italy.

Two of us went for dinner on Saturday evening. We hadn't booked and in no time they tried to accommodate us by finding us a table for two. The atmosphere is that of a tavern or trattoria, tables close together, chatter, simple and easy-going but pleasant. Punctual service, kindness and friendliness; they joked with us without being intrusive and giving us time to eat dinner, digest and move on to dessert and coffee without rushing us. At the checkout they also wanted to offer us the homemade coffee killer but we gave up because there wasn't a pin left in it. Good glasses of wine, super orecchiette (fragrant condiments, freshness and generous portion that serves as a first and second course), water, fresh desserts from southern pastries, coffee, all for two and spent 45 euros. More than honest in terms of quality/price considering that it is in Milan in an area close to the centre. For those who love Apulian cuisine and a friendly/family environment it is highly recommended.

Sono stato a mangiare con mia moglie e mia figlia (mio figlio era via e non ha potuto presenziare) da Muciaccia e abbiamo pranzato in modo incantevole… le mie orecchiette alla crudaiola (modo nostro - modo loro) sempre spaziali, le linguine con cozze, polpo e vongole una magia, e la zuppa di ceci e cicorino pugliese un toccasana … cosa posso dire ? Andateci andateci andateci, cibo super buono, qualita’ ingredienti altissima, prezzo corretto, prezzo perfetto, alla prossima sempre da Muciaccia 🥦🥦🥦
