Amaranto In Ravenna

Highly recommended even for non-vegans!! It's always a guarantee 👍

We went there a few years ago and returned on the long weekend of April 25th this year. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos, but what mouth-watering dishes.

I have been vegan for years and not far from Ravenna and I bitterly regret having discovered this vegan place only recently! Fantastic, one of the best veg restaurants I've eaten in. Exceptional menu, welcoming atmosphere and very kind staff! Advised:)

Io e due mie amiche ci siamo fermate qui il pranzo del 25 dopo una mattinata di macchina e Ravenna. Niente da dire, tutto ottimo e piatti che mi sognerò per un po’, considerando che dove vivo è difficile trovare piatti vegani che non siano pasta o bruschette. Consiglio vivamente il piatto di strozzapetri. Ovviamente non potevo rinunciare al dolce, bavarese spettacolare (soprattutto il caramello sopra) e cheescake non da meno! Senza contare il servizio, davvero tutti carini e gentili! Grazie per la bella esperienza, appena metterò nuovamente piede a Ravenna tornerò per provare altri piatti!

There is room for improvement. We went to this place for lunch with some friends. The place looks good, welcoming. The only flaw was the bathroom, as it had a faulty door, with a sign suggesting not to close it, but I would say that closing it is a necessity... it should be fixed. We were welcomed and served well by the waitress, polite and attentive. The service still deserves 4 stars out of 5 because the €2 cover charge could have included a basket of bread. The dishes we ordered did not convince us all. Some large portions, others very small. The relationship with the price, for some dishes, makes you turn up your nose, even if in general you don't spend much. We appreciated the black cabbage timbale for its flavour, but perhaps a little expensive for what it actually is. The vegetable tempura seemed like heavy frying to us. I wouldn't recommend the lasagna, while the Thai tempeh is particular, but this too has a slightly high cost compared to what it offers. Finally, as mentioned at the beginning, there are some aspects to work on, but the intentions are good.

Good food, quick and efficient service. The area is excellent, close to the center but a little secluded for those who love peace during meals.
