With the best will in the world, I can't understand the bad reviews. We had lunch at La Vecchia Fontana and were served promptly and friendly. We had a tomato salad as a starter and a pizza each as a main course. The salad was freshly prepared with date tomatoes, fresh onions, capers and olives. All ingredients were very aromatic. The pizza with a fluffy edge, as we know it from Naples. Rich toppings and a tomato sauce that also tastes like tomatoes and not just like tomato puree. At the end there was a hazelnut-colored cafe. Buono. Price and performance is okay for a tourist center.

Very nice restaurant to get the Noto feeling. Right on the square with delicous food and friendly service. Can,be crowded, so be early.

06/02/2024: Good rotisserie and excellent desserts too.. possibility of having a quick lunch.. I recommend the staff to be more friendly and perhaps to smile a little more.. a little pricey
02/11/2023: This is cool cafe that is well decorated and gives a customer freshly squeezed orange juice. It’s location permits it to be a good quick stop on the way to Neapolis Park.

15/12/2023: Personale gentile, simpatico e disponibile, porzioni abbondanti, menù vario e pesce buonissimo a prezzi giusti, la signora che ci ha serviti molto simpatica e disponibile. Ci ritorneremo.
01/10/2023: La location sul mare a prima vista è un po’ sgarruppata, però il cibo è veramente buono, cucinato in maniera super. Personale un po’ disorganizzato, ma non è un problema. Prezzo più che buono, merita la visita.
