This restaurant was recommended by my host and it was indeed packed with both locals and tourists. My first dish - the caponata with tuna was really delicious. The second dish, small green beans with anchovies was a complete disappointment. Beans cooked to near mush. The house white at 4 euros for a very small glass was tasteless. I’d try again but with low expectations. The wait staff were busy busy but really kind.

A great cosy casual place right in the centre of the historic part of town. Good selection of Sicilian dishes with adequate serving size at affordable prices. As it can be popular we reserved our place and, in a six seat table, shared our night with another couple. Highly recommended.

Ristorante Pizzeria Ruvolo

12/03/2024: We've enjoyed Ruvolo twice since visiting Palermo. Both times the meals were excellent and the service was great. Our pizza and salad and risotto was very tasty. Price was right so we recommend.
29/02/2024: Absolutely magnificent, the service and the dishes. Simple and authentic! I highly recommend !
