Pappa Al Pomodoro- This dish they called a tomato soup, but it’s not much of a soup. It is very tasty but it’s a lot thicker than a soup. Florentine T Bone Steak- This thing is massive. It is only served rare so only order if you like that kind of thing.

Amazing dinner ! I see comments on here about the lack of service , but honestly the service was the best I’ve seen so far in Italy. Obviously, don’t try to order the steak anything other than rare. The dish was meant to be rare and it is perfect rare. (Would you order a French omelette well done ? No , because it wouldn’t be a French omelette) We actually got the steak for 1 which is about 800g and it was more than enough for my girlfriend and I along with a few other dishes which were all very exceptional. Pro tip : If you’re nice , you’ll be gifted shots of limoncello . Maybe even more than one 😁

We were excited to come here for the pasta, the florentine steak, and the tiramisu. Of these only the pasta really was wonderful. We loved the ambiance and our waiter - very friendly, taking our picture at the table without even asking and making great conversation. We tried the lasagna, the gnocchi, and the ravioli with truffle. All the flavors tasted.. American. The lasagna was good and made with bechamel but tasted nothing like other authentic lasagna I’ve had in Florence. The gnocchi was my favorite of the 3. All the pasta was not al dente either, it felt slightly overcooked and needed to be chewed more than I would have liked. The Florentine steak was such a let down though - one half of it was more tender than the other but the other half was so chewy there was no point. There was at least a crust so there was a hint of flavor but not nearly tender enough. This was our 4th Florentine steak during our time here and probably our second least enjoyable. Lastly the tiramisu was so plain and average, good of course but very American like. We’ve had better in Florence that felt more interesting, unique, and special. This place felt like a tourist trap - we walked away spending over 300 euros for 4 without even having a bottle of wine. And the clientele felt almost entirely American.

Una garanzia. Ci vado sin da quando ero piccolo perchè piaceva molto a mia madre. Piatti ottimi. Pieno di turisti come tutti i locali di Firenze ma qui sono riusciti a mantenere un'ottima qualità. Personale super professionale e bravissimo. Proprietari gentilissimi. Prezzi.....beh a Firenze non regala niente a nessuno ma almeno qui sai che mangi bene. Per darvi un'idea l'altra sera Filetto ai ferri eccellente e bello grande, patate al forno, acqua e caffè 50 euro. Corretto!!!
