A very nice discovery, this small address full of charm. Traditional family cooking Excellent food, high quality and very fresh products (the arpeggio rissotto is delicious) very copious dishes...low prices for the quality and the location. This was the first restaurant in Florence where we decided to eat a meal. We found authentic Tuscan cuisine and a decor that reflects the age of the restaurant. However, the atmosphere feels like home and the service is very nice and helpful. We ordered one dish of the day and chose ravioli with spinach and ricotta in tomato sauce and the second choice was ''Peposo'' roasted beef on crostone. Everything tasted delicious and delighted with the Tuscan flavor. Additionally, we ate risotto with asparagus and roast beef with baked potatoes. Everything tasted great. For dessert, we tried tiramisu, apple sorbet from Vivola and homemade apple cake. The desserts were really tasty and everyone enjoyed them. I highly recommend giving it a try if you want an authentic Tuscan experience in the heart of Florence. Excellent value for money.

Incredible My girlfriend and I arrived at the restaurant completely exhausted after walking the Via degli Dei for 6 days. The service was excellent, with an authentic Tuscan atmosphere that made us feel like we were at grandma's house. The waitress was amazing and helped us with the backpacks. We enjoyed typical Tuscan dishes, including delicious crostini with livers, aubergine crostini with an exquisite flavour, wild boar tagliatelle with a rich and intense sauce, and a ribollita that filled us with warmth and satisfaction. The food was really good; every bite was an explosion of authentic Tuscan flavours. I highly recommend trying it if you want to have an authentic Tuscan experience in the heart of Florence. Excellent value for money.

We enjoyed this restaurant so much that we went back on another evening; it was the only restaurant we visited twice during our three week trip in Italy. On both occasions, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the food. The food was delicious and the service was excellent on both occasions. We stronly recommend this establishment; suggest reservations during peak periods.

Saw recommendation on some online blog. Arrives by train in morning Florence and came here for lunch. Lunch special menu mid week. We arrived around 12 and the place was filling up. The interior looks like from the 60s in a good old school way. Everything was old school. Our waitress was absolutely the sweetest. A lot of good food. You won't be hungry. Homemade. If I lived here I would be a regular.
