Nice meeting place, where you can spend a few hours tasting the specialties of Valdossola.

It has improved a lot in recent years...becoming in my opinion one of the best places to have an aperitif in the area of ​​Domodossola, in terms of quality, quantity and quantity/price ratio...

Well done, well done, well done! We often come for lunch for work but today you outdid yourself! We brought with us a "Milan native" representative who wanted to have (including me) the ossobuco with risotto and you amazed him!! He admitted (and the same goes for me) that it was the best he had ever eaten!!! It was truly spectacular, the meat could be cut with a fork! Furthermore, very delicate!! Keep it up !!!

One morning I enter by chance, drink a delicious coffee and given the good impression, I promise to come for lunch with my wife on a Saturday when there is a market. I would have liked to give a nice 5 at first sight!!! For the location, the food listed on the menu, the staff on duty in uniform, the vastness of artisanal products on display and to purchase, the potential of being able to organize any type of event given the size of the venue, ample parking, wines, grappas and quality gin. Instead...... No 3 stars.. but for encouragement. Arriving at 1.20pm we ask if it is still possible to have lunch. They agree and leave us alone to graze around the room and we sit at our choice on the table among those best months. I notice the room is a bit heavy, not lit at all despite the ceiling being full of lamps, very dark inside despite the beautiful weather outside. My perplexity is mostly fueled by various inconsistencies: I found a careful search for the alcohol to be offered and contrasting the quality of the raw materials of the cuisine of questionable quality, as we ate a dry pizza, with unseasoned tomato (poured onto the pizza directly from the tin it seemed), an avalanche of mozzarella, the everything tasteless as hell, even the courgettes etc and there wasn't even salt on the table. Nothing surprising given that the mise en place does not exist, no placemats, no napkins, we even had to ask for cutlery after the pizza arrived. For napkins you use ice cream cone napkins, do you know the table dispenser ones? Unfortunately, as soon as we started eating, a waitress started cleaning the floor with a broom, arousing silent dissent, I believe, also from other seated customers. Going to the toilet I was stunned: only 1 toilet in the whole place!!! 1 only for women, men, disabled people and children. And only 1 sink. Without paper!!! With all that seating inside and out??? How is this possible? I don't know.. Disappointed, dirty table, very neglected windows. Distracted staff, too busy, under-stimulated. They chat with acquaintances at the counter. We get up and pay at the register, giving up coffee and bitters that could have been comforting. Well, it's one of the most beautiful places in Domodossola, I'm sorry. But more for the impression I made with the woman. Strength and courage can be improved.
