We went there for a snack, the price is high but it's worth this superb location in Florence and the cakes are excellent. We were very well received, I recommend.

A BEAUTIFUL AND HISTORIC CAFFE (IN FLORENCE SINCE 1733).WE ENJOYED AN EXTREMELY GOOD CAPPUCCINO. ADMIRED THE INSIDE OF THE SHOP, WHICH IS JUST WONDERFUL. A LIVING COFFEE MUSEUM.THE STAFF ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND VERY KIND AND I HOPE THEY ARE REWARDED ACCORDINGLY.

Very nice cafe-restaurant. We all drank some excellent Aperol before our meal. Good service from the kids in the nice uniforms. The children were playing chase in the square! It was a sunny Easter Sunday lunchtime 2024 for us! Wonderful!!

I leave a positive review for the courtesy of the staff, both when I went to the restaurant and during my online order. Excellent pastry shop and restaurant with a unique atmosphere in the center of Florence.

Ci sono stato per un break la mattina con la mia fidanzata. È stata una continua emozione in questo splendido locale storico dove il glamour è di casa! Ci ha serviti con gran cortesia e simpatia Carmelo ma tutto lo staff mi pareva solerte e sorridente coi clienti. Abbiamo scelto entrambi il caffè Gilli, super delizioso! Conto che x un ambiente, un servizio e una storia del genere ci sta eccome. Bravi! Consigliatissimo!

Uno dei Caffè storici di Firenze, proprio in Piazza della Repubblica, con un ampio dehor molto accogliente. Personale cortese e ottimo servizio. Vengo spesso qui per una merenda super calorica e super golosa! Ottimi i dolci, forse non è economico ma sono sempre felice quando...

19/12/2023: We stayed at the castle at the end of November. It was sooo cold in the apartment. The apartment itself was very spacious, but it couldn't be enjoyed because of how chilly it was in the place. We also found a stink bug in the bed sheets. We had to check in past 6pm because of when our flight landed. I had called beforehand and was told that I could check in at the hotel restaurant. We arrive to the castle and it was impossible to find the restaurant. There were no signs guiding us where to go and we wandered around for half an hour before stumbling across another guest that helped us find the place. I would not recommend staying here. Maybe it's a better time in the summer.
12/11/2023: Absolutely charming castle in the most beautiful countryside. This is not a modern hotel, but it is an amazing experience.
