Casa dello strudel In Bressanone

I tried both the puff pastry and the shortcrust pastry strudel. Both sublime. This morning I stopped by to pick up the ones I ordered to give to friends on my way home from the mountains. My grandmother was Austrian and cooked a delicious strudel. Here at the Casa del Strudel I felt the flavors of childhood, wonderfully made Strudels. Good strudel, I can't say about the courtesy of the shop assistant, but then in South Tyrol they are cold and detached. You don't let the customer bag it if they ask for an envelope, but what about courtesy?

Small shop under the bridge but with a large variety of breads and sweets! Kraken, pretzels, tarts, brioches, biscuits etc! I had a very good roll brioche full of cream, an empty croissant with a neutral flavor and a Cieglia tart, I also tasted a chestnut cream brioche but that too didn't shine with a strong flavour. Furthermore, I had asked for the Cielliga tart thinking they would give me the classic diagonal striped tart and instead I found myself with the sbrisolona type, well it must have been a coincidence but I was struck by the other one...
