Cucina Garibaldi In Piazza armerina

We arrive quite late for lunch, but we’re welcomed and the food as fantastic! Pasta was home-made and the Ragu sauce delicious.

Leaving Villa Romama around 2:30 p.m., Garibaldi was hosting a family meal and was therefore still open...and there...very pleasant surprise! Beef cheek confit with potatoes and pollenta, fragrant olive oil, service with a smile, family atmosphere. We had a little moment of happiness!

Great tasty food, lovely people. Very reasonable prices. Unfortunately we did not eat in the beautiful garden on this cold day.

A place with good taste, ideal courtesy and kindness, starters and first courses of true qualitative excellence, high quality/price ratio. If you pass by Piazza Armerina this restaurant is an obligatory stop! Greetings to all the staff.

Beautiful place, traditional but modern Sicilian cuisine. Very very attentive. A very particular Easter Sunday on our last day in Sicily. 💯 % recommended

Excellent lunch, punctual service and acceptable prices

A class above for a surprisingly reasonable price. We had lunch this afternoon (03/02/2024, 2 people) and everything was really perfect. And that’s a good thing because there are very few restaurants open this season in Piazza Armerina. We decided to share “Una passeggiata di Campania”, a kind of Italian “mezze”: anti vegetable pasti (a treat), tians (a kind of small warm flans) with broccoli, cheese croquettes, and a variety of delicious Italian cheeses (including a little burrata di buffalo) with a small pot of marmalade, all accompanied by good fresh bread, homemade grissini, and of course a small bottle of olive oil olive from Sicily. They do this very well! For the atmosphere: refined room, tables well spaced and nicely decorated with beautiful plates, jazzy musical background. And the waitress, completely charming and attentive. In short, a chic but non-formal place. The bill, as I wrote above, was more than reasonable. This single dish “Una passeggiata di Campania”, which we shared (20.00€) + 1 glass of chardonnay (very pleasant) + 1 “naturale” mineral water + 2 coffees (espresso, logical): total 34.00€ ! I would like to point out that I have no connection with this establishment and that I am writing this comment because, when it is good, it must be said! Off an alley, close to main street Garibaldi (hence the name). Locally recommended and very good. Well appointed interior. Cheerful service – staff were actually smiling. Had a leisurely lunch of wine and a very good pizza – meats, artichokes and 2 types of cheese and still had leftovers (not the wine unfortunately). One of the staff told me I had to see Aragones Castle but I didn’t realize how late I was – I was so relaxed. I had to bolt out of there.
