Del Porto In Menaggio

Very good restaurant with a great view of the lake, however small quantity on the plate, if you want to eat your fill you have to count at least €60 per person for antipasti, primari and secondari piatti.

One of the best place to eat in Menaggio. Fine dining place, i ate risotto, my man ate lamb, for dessert tiramisu and cheesecake. The dinner was excellent . The staff was nice and helpful. Thanks for the experience.

Very high quality/price ratio. Refined dishes with well-balanced flavor combinations. Excellent service in a lakefront location. I strongly recommend it.

New chef (previously it was "da Paolo") the leap in quality is notable.

We happened upon it during an evening with a couple of rather noisy tables. Good food but portions too small. Friendly and attentive dining room staff. However, the bill was really too high. A big flaw was that we asked if we wanted a digestive as if it were a free gift and then found it on the bill.

Don’t let the unassuming exterior and slightly dated interior fool you this restaurant is a hidden gem full of charm. Came here without a reservation (was in April so would ring ahead in case) and even though was relatively full we were able to be seated almost immediately. Service was friendly and polite throughout and the English from the waitress was impeccable. Fantastic wine selection with a big range in prices and regions with even a decent selection by the glass. Food quality was excellent with the breadsticks, breadroll and even small amuse-bouche accompaniment at the beginning you would expect from a much higher end restaurant. Main courses were excellent and although they ran out of tiramisu the creme brûlée was a decent backup. The outside seating was very well presented and Fantastic value and definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Menaggio will come again.

The restaurant got a new chef and a new upgraded meny. Great food and service. Eat there three times on my last trip to Menaggio and the food was great, every time.

A top quality restaurant. Although everything was excellent. The tiramisu got all the applause. Spectacular attention.

Very good food, we have known Aurelio's dishes for many years when he worked in another restaurant. Everything is rather upscale, so the portions and prices are appropriate. Very attentive and polite service since we entered the restaurant, high praise! The location/view over the lake is fantastic. We will be back!

This was one of the nicest meals we had during our stay at Lake Como. The restaurant has a fabulous lakefront setting and very friendly, attentive service. They have a new chef at the restaurant, and the food was just exceptional,, equivalent to a Michelin star restaurant! We plan on returning often!
