Egopizza In Modica

This was my first pasta with porcini and pistachio. Very good and also generous portions. Nice quiet outdoor patio. A welcome respite from this very, very noisy city.

Off the main road so not bothered by the sounds and smells of traffic. Great and lots of indoor seating with a nice patio, too. The pizza was what we expected and delicious. The pasta with porcini and pistachios was perfect.

Superb discovery, very warm and attentive staff, the pizzas were delicious, and what can we say about the tiramisu... A real treat, accompanied by very pleasant background music! If I go through Modica again, I will definitely go back!

In the back streets where you'll find good eateries. As per the golden rule, never eat on the main street where the food is overpriced and of poor quality. Unfortunately this restaurant didn't have the exposure or clientele to fill its' tables. The owner was very nice and took the time to explain why their pizza bread raising process is better than the traditional. She even explained how I could make it at home for that authentic taste. Usually the proprietor doesn't want to divulge their secrets, let alone chat with a client. Do yourself a favour and give this place a go.... especially the pizza!

This is the best cannoli that I’ve ever eaten during these two weeks in Modica. Though I spoke English to the staff here , she’s still so nice and patient that I can understand what she wanted to express. I love here.

Pranzo di San Valentino: abbiamo apprezzato molto la disponibilità di poter mangiare a pranzo la pizza, cosa che molti a Modica non fanno. Il personale ci ha accolti bene, con un’atmosfera carina e possiamo dire anche di casa (la proprietaria molto accogliente). La pizza era molto buona, non abbiamo letteralmente lasciato nemmeno il cornicione nel piatto in quanto soffice e alto; gli ingredienti selezioni sono di ottima qualità. Piccolo appunto: rispetto alle altre pizzerie che si possono trovare qui è relativamente più costosa, ma mangiando la pizza si può sorvolare questo piccolo dettaglio. Noi in 2 abbiamo preso: 2 pizze, 1 bottiglia d’acqua con un totale di 29,50 (compreso il coperto per 2+ i 2 supplementi da 1,50€ l’uno). Possiamo dire però che in tutto ciò il prezzo ne è valsa la qualità poiché siamo stati bene; un pranzo che sicuramente che faremo e lo consigliamo magari per una coppia o una famiglia, piuttosto che a dei ragazzi che potrebbe avere i soldi contati. Nonostante ciò ci è stato regalato un cioccolatino per festeggiare San Valentino!
