Passing through Calalzo di Cadore I stopped at the Pizzeria El Gringo because I had already been there years ago and it had impressed me
Easy to reach, it is located in a large thoroughfare
Modern interior with warm atmospheres and floral depictions
The pizza I got, a vegetable special, was presented very well and was also good
Very friendly, welcoming and attentive staff
Good experience and I recommend it

Excellent experience, delicious pizza and particular menu with refined choices. Very friendly and quick service. Finally, sweet offers thanks to an agreement with local B&Bs. I will return to Cadore for other treks and will definitely come back to eat here!

I went there at the suggestion of the manager of the Airbnb I stayed in, I found a very nice and well-kept place and the friendly staff. Special and delicious pizzas. I had a porchetta and giardiniera which left me impressed by how good it was. Very fast service, the pizzas arrived in less than 10 minutes despite it being a Saturday evening and the place full. I will definitely be back to try other pizzas.

Non possiamo venire sulle Dolomiti senza passare da el gringo .
Le pizze sono buonissime, ingredienti freschi ed ottimi, il personale è giovane e gentile .
Prezzi in linea con quanto offerto (due pizze, birra, acqua €37)

Perché quel nome?
L'ambiente è arioso e luminoso e non vi sono solo pizze, anche se il locale è
rinomata per queste ultime e per gli abbinamenti insoliti. Abbiamo assaggiato pizza con fiordi latte, manzo tonnato con pomodorini e foglie di cappero e paccheri all'amatriciana. La pizza aveva un impasto leggerissimo ma era piccola, non filante e non ci è arrivata calda al tavolo. Il menu presentava pochi piatti e dessert ed era scritto su un supporto per me indecente e poco chiaro. Personalmente avrei preferito almeno su un cartoncino. Personale da farsi. Mi spiace ammetterlo che non capisco la popolarita' di cui si fregia
