This time visit in spring, with an incredible swirl of colors from thousands of tulips. But tulips aside, the gardens of Villa Taranto are always well-kept and full of tree and shrub species to admire. Along the recommended route, which lasts a couple of hours, there are benches on which to rest and bask in the sun for a while. 13 euros well spent (discounts for groups)

Extremely well-kept garden characterized by botanical specimens from all over the world. Although visited during a weekday at the end of March, the park was able to offer truly enchanting views thanks to the splendor of the magnolias in bloom and the contrast with the snow-capped mountains. Advised!

Although it was not the ideal time for flowering, it was a rainy day, I appreciated the magnificence of the wonderful gardens. Beautiful! I will return in a month to appreciate the next blooms.

Few people, everything tidy and well kept, in my opinion a few more bins for paper and plastic would be needed. No checks at the entrance.

25/05/2024: Not exactly modern, but clean and welcoming environment. I recommend the bagna cauda, ​​and not to overdo it with the starters, because the risottos are amazing and super abundant. The one with beetroot and goat cheese is excellent, with a delicate flavour, while the one with carbonara with coffee powder is more full-bodied. Dogs are welcome. Only flaw: difficult to park. 10/10 for the food

07/05/2024: We found this place in Stresa from the Michelin Guide in the April of 2024. It's a nice place in the center of Stresa close to the port, in a very touristy area. The staff was really kind and welcoming but the food was very very regular, nothing special or tasty.. I think we paid 60eur/person only because it is in the Michelin Guide. Also, I must add that the lake area in general is more expensive than other parts of north Italy. Thanks anyway to the staff..
05/05/2024: Excellent raw materials, well cooked and presented. Efficient and courteous service. Tables well spaced, no noise disturbance, you can converse in a low voice.
