Quite simply the best pizza in Florence! Good atmosphere inside and good service too.

We tried bistecca and pizza margherita dop, everything was great! The staff was helpful and polite and the environment nice.

Came here on our first night in Italy and it was the best meal of our entire trip. Try the pizzas, the pasta with ragu or the Florentine Steak. The Tiramisu was heaven. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Really nice place. where we ate a fabulous Florentine or rather 2 we tried the Polonia and the local one. very good, one leaner and the other fatter and tastier! everything is served with side dishes such as vegetables, baked potatoes and beans! we also have tasted the super good fried brains and the boys had the pizza. Everything was really delicious! Compliments to the young and friendly staff. I recommend booking!

Real Neapolitan pizza, very good. Welcoming staff. When you come in and order a takeaway pizza, they offer you a sparkling wine and an appetizer while you wait! their panuozzi are special.

On this day my husband and I wanted a place for pizza that was walking distance from our hotel. We had had a long day of sightseeing and just wanted something quick and easy for dinner. We had pizza in Venice so why not Florence? So on 9/7/2023 we walked about 10 minutes or so to get to this place. there is outside seating as well as inside. The outside tables appear to be full which is fine with us as we prefer the inside seating. Seated at a roomy booth and for drinks we get water, beer/Menabrea for Richard, and a glass of house white wine for me. We're here for pizza so we ordered the margherita which is what we always get when on trips. I let our server know we will be sharing the pizza. I must say I was impressed by the cuts of meat I saw in the cooler. Menu has lots of options. When our pizza is brought to the table it is on 2 plates-half of the pizza on a plate for Richard and half of it on a plate for me. The crust is very tasty but the middle with the sauce and cheese is very soggy. The crust under is almost nonexistent. Sauce and cheese good but the crust under it?? I'm disappointed. Not the best pizza but not the worse we've had. I guess I just expected that pizza in Italy would be like a wow experience. We like our pizza to be thin but crispy, not soggy. I'm also not sure if the pizza was cooked in a wood fired oven as that can make a difference in the taste/overall quality as far as I'm concerned. I have room for dessert so I ordered the tiramisu. I don't recall having a dessert menu to look at. Maybe our server just told us what was available? This tiramisu was a bit different that what I've had before. More like a slice of tiramisu cake. The bottom layer tasted like orange flavored sponge then a thick solid chocolate layer. It was good. Complimentary limoncello shots. We didn't get the bill delivered to our table. We walked up to the counter and paid. Very reasonable. Cost 28€/$30.10. Service was excellent. Pizza was average-a bit of a disappointment. But like I said those cuts of meat I saw in the cooler............. Maybe I should have ordered steak. Taking all things into consideration we had a good experience.
