Excellent restaurant in the heart of Valpolicella, well-trained and very kind staff. The only flaw, in my opinion, is the obligation of the multi-course tasting menu.

We ate at Groto de Corgnan and had an awesome experience. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. If you are after amazing food and a meal out of the ordinary, then this is the place for you! Your taste buds are in for a treat! My favourite dish was the fresh handmade tagliatelle with handpicked wild hops and a local mountain cheese sauce. So yummy! I would highly recommend!

Super recommended! Welcoming and with very kind staff who make you feel pampered. The dishes are all very balanced, delicate and with fresh local ingredients. We did the tasting menu with 5 courses. It's really worth it.

Travel is a rewarding, but an often trying exploit. This little home was our oasis. The welcome we received was one for old friends, wood fire crackling, warm smiles, laughs, kindness. The grace of Besa and the girls’ hospitality will stay with me for a long time. The food was spectacular, small plates of delicately curated ingredients. Each course was accompanied by explanations crafted with the same love for Verona and Valpollicella as the food. The flavours were somehow subtle but truly remarkable. As we ate I couldn’t have felt more at comfortable, the setting, the food, the wine. As if we’d found ourselves home somehow, on the other side of the globe. If you have the opportunity, take it. This is an experience not soon forgotten.

Amazing experience. Spectacular and enchanting location. Impeccable service, nothing short of superlative. Very well trained dining room staff, kind, courteous, friendly and always attentive and helpful. Excellent dishes presented with style and class. Absolutely perfect wine pairing. We didn't find a negative note. I wonder why it isn't a starred one, it deserves a star straight away. Real compliments to all the staff. We had a good time, we ate very well and we were pampered from start to finish. The dishes are all really excellent. Excellent value for money. Super recommended for those looking for something more than a great restaurant.

Advised! Pleasant experience in a typical Valpolicella restaurant. We did the food tasting menu recommended by the owner and every dish fully met our expectations. The pasta is particularly good, you can feel that it is homemade and the ingredients are very fresh. Attentive, welcoming and very competent staff accompanied us during dinner with the presentation of the dishes and wine from the area. I can't wait to return in the summer to eat outdoors!

Good food, well selected wines. All well presented by the histrionic patron, Gaetano. Full of anecdotes about food, wines and local characters, he manages to make this food and wine journey in the real Valpolicella even more exciting
