Their tagliatelle with truffle is one of the best i haver tasted so far! The people were extremely kind and welcoming. The atmosphere was also quite attractive. I have nothing to complain about :)

Excellent restaurant with nice dishes, good wine list, nice environment, good service but with average English for communication. We booked 8 people. We were initially put in the basement which is the old wine cellar. I complained a bit and we were immediately seated in the main hall on the ground floor! Flawless! I highly recommend it!!

Perfect. We went twice in our week in Florence. My pasta with gorgonzola cream sauce and shaved truffles and truffle berries was one of the best dishes I have ever had. Even the plate was beautiful. Staff are pleasant and professional. Beef carpaccio was superb starter. Meal for 2, including bottle excellent Tuscan wine €120.

A great discovery in Florence. The gluten-free menu is highly appreciated. I was able to taste my first fresh gluten-free pasta and the tiramisu was excellent! The service is professional.

Hosteria Il Desco was a perfect spot for dinner with friends while in Florence. The food was all outstanding - the spaghetti cooked in Chianti was some of the best I’ve ever had. The steaks were all incredible as well. One person in our party is gluten-free and they had a separate menu, and all of the gluten free items were apparently great as well. The service was great also. I’d definitely recommend as a great overall option, especially for gluten-free, and would return if I’m back in Florence.

Locale accogliente, con una atmosfera calda creata da una sapiente scelta delle luci. Flan viola di cavolo cappuccio squisito. Le pappardelle al cinghiale sono superlative e la costata con i funghi molto buona. Ottimo il tiramisù, leggero e spumoso. Il personale attento e gentile senza essere invadente. Una serata tranquilla molto piacevole.

A poca distanza dagli Uffizi, si trova questo locale elegante: si chiama "Hostaria", ma della vecchia Osteria, come si intende spesso, non ha molto: è un ristorante con una certa eleganza, bella presentazione dei tavoli (anche se un poco stretti) e dell'apparecchiatura; buona l'accoglienza da parte del personale. Menù piuttosto vario, con una prevalenza dei piatti della tradizione toscana. Abbiamo scelto: Antipasti: Caprese di Tartufo con pomodoro, cuore di burrata, tartufo nero fresco e perle di tartufo nero; Primi piatti: Tagliolini con fonduta leggera di gorgonzola, tartufo fresco in scaglie e perle di tartufo nero; Pappardelle al cinghiale Secondi piatti: Carrè di agnello al forno con tartufo nero fresco e salsa di formaggio al tartufi bianco; Filetto di Manzo ai ferri e Tagliata di Manzo braciata con parmigiano reggiano e rucola con contorno di patate al forno. Vino: Chianti. Giudizio sicuramente positivo sia come qualità che quantità. Servizio veloce e puntuale; prezzi superiore alla media, giustificato dalle materie prime. Consigliato.
