Oggi per la festa del 1 maggio mi sono recato insieme ad un’amica prima ad Otranto e poi seguendo i consigli di un amico sono andato a pranzare al ristorante i Rocci di Cocumola che è un piccolo paese distante una decina di chilometri da Otranto. la location è molto accogliente, nulla di eccezionale dal punto di vista architettonico, però è molto garbata ed elegante. Il personale è molto cordiale e professionale, mentre per quanto riguarda i piatti sono veramente ottimi e vengono accompagnate sia all’inizio che alla fine da alcune piccole prelibatezze culinarie date senza alcuna richiesta. Il prezzo in ragione della qualità è ottimo! quindi riassumendo anziché magari fermarsi a Otranto Dove vi è una situazione più turistica, facendo un pochino di strada si sta un po’ più tranquillo , il palato viene notevolmente soddisfatto ed il portafoglio non ha da lamentarsi, per questo ho dato cinque stelle

So.....extraordinary hospitality, relaxing atmosphere ideal for families with children, romantic couples, singles....in short, a place capable of adapting to any type of request! clean, hygienically top notch! Staff ? Starting from the owner up to all the members of the staff, chef, waiters, managers, employees, etc. etc... it just seems like we are dealing with a big family that does everything to satisfy the numerous requests of customers. excellent cuisine excellent dishes excellent service, what about the prices? ... All well spent and well proportioned In short, I left to spend 2 days relaxing with my 2 children... 6 days have passed and we are here every evening, this says it all! I recommend everyone to spend an evening in this beautiful place! Thanks to Simone who works magic in the kitchen and to the crazy lady Barbara and to all the guys on the staff....

Siamo stati in questo ristorante per la cena. Una tra i commensali aveva già assaporato le pietanze del luogo e ce le aveva decantate. Devo dire che l'esperienza culinaria, a partire dalla gentilezza del personale/padroni di casa, agli assaggi dell'idea gastronomica che da lì a poco avremmo goduto, è stata una gioia per il palato. Le sfere di olive verdi una scoperta esaltante! Non sono abitutata a fotografare i piatti che sto mangiando...ma non vi nego che avrei dovuto. Il perfetto impiattamento del cibo già da solo vale una prenotazione dai "I Rocci". Primi piatti con materia prima eccellente. I secondi di pesce, dalla tradizionale e abbondante frittura di paranza, al dentice servito su una crema di sedano rapa (non ricordo gli altri ingredienti). Abbiamo terminato con dei dolci semplici e complessi allo stesso modo, dalla bomba di cioccolato, alla pastiera scomposta e agli assaggi di dolcetti e di piccoli bocconcini di cotognata, che anche il meno goloso, come me, ha avuto modo di apprezzare. Un applauso alle pignette sciroppate che non avevo mai mangiato in vita mia. Buona carta dei vini. Qualità prezzo, eccellente.

I had dinner with some friends, we chose a varied fish menu. We were offered dishes of the highest level, beautifully presented and prepared with great skill. Truly remarkable service. The Arabian Nights in the small town of Cocumola.

Really great Easter Monday lunch! Prosecco and desserts offered, impeccable service and speed of delivery. Delicious frying, one of the best I've ever eaten, crunchy and not greasy with oil. Really nice place and honest prices. Highly recommended!
