18/04/2024: Dinner for a couple in this restaurant, already from the telephone reservation you can understand the level of professionalism. Once you arrive you are greeted formally but with a smile, with a retro touch, which was very pleasant. The room is very beautiful, well-spaced tables, simply furnished, but at the same time gives a feeling of relaxation and warm welcome, you can feel a sensation of quiet intimacy at the table. The service is always present, professional, but never intrusive. We really appreciated the explanation of each course, plated in an excellent manner. We decided to have two starters and a first and second course, and we can say that on all courses, the raw materials were of excellent choice and cooked perfectly with combinations of sauces and reductions, so different and intense that they were perfect in combination. The wine list is vast and assorted, ranging across the various regions, I would say that everyone will find their choice. A little treat that left us pleasantly surprised "the entrée" with a selection of three dishes with a tasting, which make us understand the level of what the subsequent courses will be; the plate of desserts at the end of the meal, and having asked for a bitter to worthily finish an excellent dinner, they brought me to the table 3 varieties of liqueurs also accompanied by an essential but well-made explanation of the flavors, from which to choose. The price of dinner and courses was very in line with the products and service that accompanied us throughout the evening. We will certainly recommend "Matteo" and will return to experience other gastronomic emotions. Small side note, pleasantly surprised by the dining room staff who with great mastery is always with a smile, explained the various courses in English to two couples.
27/02/2024: Simply a fantastic experience, superb food, refined products, vast selection of excellent wines and impeccable friendliness! It is also possible to have vegan variations and they are very attentive to intolerances and allergies
