We arrived during a thunderstorm on our hike on the Sentiero italia and were warmly welcomed by Angela, the landlady. She cooked us a delicious lunch. Despite our simple Italian, we were able to chat and exchange ideas well. We recommend!

The very friendly Botticelli couple served us. We arrived very late, but we didn't have to compromise on our choice of dishes. Even without Italian we were able to communicate well with our hands and feet, it was really fun! Restaurant is very nicely decorated. Thank you for the nice hospitality and the delicious food!

Excellent Sunday lunch at this place, the dishes were all very good, the environment is nice and modern, the waiting times are slightly longer given the family management of the place and the few tables which do not allow for more dining room staff , but it is a factor that is repaid by the quality of the food.

12/02/2024: I went for dinner for the first time, I wanted to try the pizza, I was expecting some inviting dishes, but I didn't taste them, in my pizza the sauce was raw and overall nothing special.
12/02/2024: Sono stata per la prima volta a cena, ho voluto provare la pizza, aspetto dei piatti invitanti, ma assangiandoli no, nella mia pizza la salsa era cruda e nell’insieme niente di speciale.

10/04/2024: I ordered two chop sandwiches, one with pistachio and one with deviled cheese. I also tasted a piece of the sandwich with classic Messina chops, but I didn't like it as much as the ones I ordered... The food was really good, you could also feel the quality of the chops and their taste; regarding the service I gave 3 stars because I'm not the girl who served us at the table, she wasn't very friendly, a bit "down to earth", in the sense that she stated things that weren't true. For example, when we sat down (having been indoors), while he was setting the table he saw a hair, promptly stating that it was not his but mine). However, the food was very good, it was also worth the price being in the city center (practically in front of the cathedral) and also being that the place was close to the cathedral. In summary, I think this place is worth trying, without giving too much weight to the staff!!
