It was a pleasant discovery, rustic setting...excellent first and second courses (tagliatelle, tortellacci, rabbit, cold cuts), equally delicious side dishes and finally sweets too.
Excellent Sunday lunch, friendly waiters and a very suggestive view.
Very very honest prices and generous portions... the journey of over an hour (Sunday trip) was worth it.

A stunning typical Italian place with real Italian food, homely and generous, without unnecessary pretentiousness. Located among the hills, but not far! There is a beautiful landscape around and cute domestic rabbits running around. The menu includes an amazing wild boar ragu and tortelloni con fungi porcini! Every time I visit, I always go to Cacciatore!!! I recommend!

Good and honest. Available and fast. The stewed wild boar is superb, the tigelle are marvelous and are made to perfection and without lard and milk. The original mountain ones.
I revisit my old review and confirm it.
Always perfect wild boar, super tigelle. The only negative note is that they don't contain soft cheeses which is a major limitation for enjoying the tigelle in the right way.
The mushroom tortelli is absolutely worth trying
I recommend the pignoletto

I passed by this restaurant I can say; They have good starters and a decent selection. Second courses with rabbit and grill just passable, very good tigelle. The bad thing about the bill is that they don't issue a receipt.

Tried it on a Sunday for lunch with friends; restaurant on the hills between Castello di Serravalle and Guiglia, therefore on the border between Bologna and Modena. Classic hill restaurant, with à la carte menu with local cuisine (homemade pasta, meat main courses, crescentine etc.). good quality pasta (excellent mushroom tortelloni), tasty rabbits and generally good quality. Service with some room for improvement... More than honest account given the times and transformations of agritourisms into luxury restaurants seen lately....
Just be careful that when it's full there's confusion so if you want a romantic moment don't go on Sunday for lunch...

Cibo ottimo e fatto in casa. Gusti tradizionali ed appetitosi. Primi ottimi e gustosi. Secondi tradizionali di funghi e cinghiale buonissimi. Tigelle ottime

Cibo buono forse con troppo sale. Tris di pasta tra cui tortellini in brodo. Abbiano dovuto chiedere i cucchiai e non è stato portato un piatto pulito idoneo per i tortellini. Per il secondo ordinato tagliata cottura al sangue. In realtà era "secca" e non è stata sostituta. Servizio pessimo
