Excellent food cooked with passion. Friendly, accurate service and very kind staff. Potentially beautiful location right on the sea, but in my opinion it could be improved.
Ample parking. Average prices.
I recommend the artichoke with fondue and really good bacon...excellent scampi...in short, a must try!

If you are from these areas you can't miss a stop in this restaurant!!!!!! Michelin star…courteous and trained staff…. excellent dishes excellent value for money.
We will definitely visit again... but this time for several days.

Informal dinner with friends, warm welcome and accommodating location.
Compliments to the service and the quality of the dishes served, Vittoria with her friendliness manages to make you feel at home.
The bill is consistent with the quality of the dishes served and is definitely worth it.

I had dinner with my partner this evening and it was a wonderful experience. The first thing that pleased us was seeing the chef taking orders and an elegant but not too stiff dining room service.
As for the cuisine, we tasted the roast tortelli, oysters, Viareggio prawns, Meglio del Tirreno spaghetti and the Operà cake. They were all balanced dishes with a clear flavour, and contributed to making us have a wonderful dinner. The price is also more than correct for what we were offered
If you want to go without fail with high-level cuisine and service, this is the place for you. I hope to come back soon

The location, especially on a beautiful sunny day, is undoubtedly impressive: inside Bagno Ariston, 10 meters from the sand, you can see the sea.
The chef loves French cuisine and butter. The dishes are good, but sometimes the marriage between France and Versilia on the plate doesn't take off. An example is seafood risotto, where the butter is too much and heavily covers the flavor of the fish. The "best of the Tyrrhenian" spaghetti is better, even if not too risotto.
Among the starters, I tried the tuna tartare with sautéed cuttlefish: a good dish.
The desserts are very good (here the French inspiration is seen and appreciated) a millefeuille worthy of a good Parisian patisserie.
I could give four stars, but I give three for the value for money, which in my opinion is currently a bit unbalanced. In summary, for the same price, you can eat better elsewhere in the area.

Il Merlo è una perla culinaria in quel della Versilia. La sicurezza di trovare piatti curati, buonissimi, non banali e in più accompagnati da un servizio molto attento, veloce e cortese. Se non amate la baraonda vociante del Forte e volete una sera "su misura", dove essere coccolati, mangiare e stare bene questo è il luogo ideale. Se poi x caso siete a Camaiore c'è anche il Merlo Gastronomia dove AnnaLea e il suo staff preparano manicaretti deliziosi.
