Il Principe e la civetta is a very nice restaurant in a panoramic point of Vietri Sul Mare. The irresistible friendliness of the waiter Giovanni (self-styled local De Niro lookalike...and in fact we noticed some resemblance!) makes it an unmissable place to spend a dinner with soft lights and savoring a delicious spaghetti with Vietri pesto (my partner he was delighted). The house Greek was also excellent, as was the babà and the strawberry and apple liqueurs that concluded the meal. The idea of ​​giving a small ceramic owl as a souvenir seemed very sweet to us, so much so that, having forgotten it on the table due to my proverbial carelessness, we went back at closing time hoping to still find someone there... and here's Giovanni, what's up with it? he gave away two. Advised!

At first I had the impression that the waiter who greeted us was not in a good mood, and then he turned out to be lovely, the service was very friendly, excellent food, from start to finish, they made me even offered a mini gift at the end (three times nothing, but the gesture was extremely nice) no complaints, I totally recommend this restaurant! On the other hand, when you are driving, parking is complicated.

Not just the cute name, everything at this place is taken care of. The food is amazing, even if you, like my son, are gluten free. They take maximum attention and care. And on the menu they have many choices, even gluten free bread. We spent 2 nights at Vietri and both evenings we ate here. We will be back for sure. Thank you so much.

A pleasant atmosphere on a quiet rainy evening. Very good food with requests outside the menu that were fulfilled. A large selection of wines and a courteous restaurant owner who served us. Thanks for the evening - unfortunately no photo, I was very hungry. We had ravioli with pumpkin and shrimp, pasta with anchovies and nuts, calamari fritti and tiramisu. LUNCH Impeccable lunch, We have found that the quality of the food and the service are up to what is proposed. The first courses were excellent, we took the fusilli with seafood, and the ravioli filled with lemon ricotta with pumpkin and courgettes. Two excellent first courses. As a second course, fresh tuna caught of the day on escarole, and creamed cod, served with potatoes and vegetables. Really good wine. The prices are fair and in line with the quality of the food. It was immediately love at first sight... a choice also dictated by the fact that they accept animals. There were two of us plus our dog who really enjoyed lunch. Really well looked after and truly welcoming place, very kind staff, attentive service, prepared and courteous in manner and available for every request. In short, everything described in the menu is truly excellent. An excellent place for those looking for a quality lunch in a welcoming and relaxing environment. Definitely one of the best. Non ci ero mai stato prima. E ho fatto male. Complimenti davvero ai gestori di questo ristorante, per la gentilezza e il calore che trasmettono. Traspare un grande amore per quello che fanno. Il locale è carino, molto identitario, raccolto. Trasuda lo spirito della costiera amalfitana, con un occhiolino garbato alla modernità. Veniamo alle impressioni sul cibo, mie personalissime da profano. Antipasto: un carpaccio di mare con frutta fresca e verdure servito su una lastra di sale, fresco, intrigante, particolare. Primo: spaghetto al pesto vietrese, piatto popolare leggermente rivisto. Che dire, una rivelazione. Poesia. Ingredienti semplici uniti in un connubio davvero incredibile. Frittura mista all'altezza della situazione per chiudere. Tutto cucinato al momento e sotto i nostri occhi. Prezzi onesti. Da riprovare assolutamente.

Io e mia moglie ( celiaca ), abbiamo pranzato il 25 novembre, ambiente accogliente, lo chef preparato e gentile , piatti gustosi e ben serviti , ho dialogato con lo chef scambiando consigli sulla prenotazione del famoso limoncello della costiera amalfitana. Lo consiglio vivamente
