Maybe our best night out in Sicily! We didn't want a ton of food, but we did want some great local wine and an intimate night out in a small local restaurant. The owner (Catalina? I apologize if I got this wrong) was fantastic in helping us pick out great wine, a perfect platter (with fantastic local cheese, ham with truffles made by her mother along with fig jam, eggplant two ways, etc...) - she told us to get the smaller size thank god as even that was way more than we could eat. We enjoyed a great bottle of wine, great food, and a memorable amaro at the end. In short, this may have been out best meal, service and food in 2 weeks traveling. I wish we had somewhere like this locally. Grazie mille!!! We loved the family atmosphere and pride - a couple and the mom too who made several things. Don't miss this place!!! The grilled veggies were the BEST ever!

Stupendo questo locale nel centro di Taormina. Una formaggeria che offre taglieri misti (salumi / formaggi) con assaggi di piatti tipici (caponata, polpette e melanzane). Semplicemente strepitoso, il tutto assaporando un ottimo bicchiere di bianco dell’Etna. Vale la pena provarlo…

14/05/2024: Fantastic. Every time I go to Sicily I can't miss going to have dinner at Borrello. The appetizers are many and truly excellent. You can also find raw ham from black pigs. The price is really lower than what you eat.
12/05/2024: Quality and courtesy always at the top. It is a pleasure to return to this place where, in addition to courtesy, there is excellent quality in the menu they offer. When the quality is this high everything else takes second place. Clean and well-kept environment and staff always present and quick in service

24/11/2023: I celebrated with my girlfriend... It was a wonderful evening in a wonderful restaurant with exceptional waiters and we ate really well, congratulations 🥰🥰
13/11/2023: Siamo tornati dopo qualche tempo a provare questo grazioso ristorante, questa volta in compagnia di nostro figlio. Avevo già recensito il locale, il cui stile è veramente gradevole, ambiente rilassante e ben curato, azzeccata la presenza delle piante; molto gradita anche la cucina totalmente a vista. Ci siamo stati diverse volte e posso dire che è stato un crescendo di perfezione, questa volta merita un'altra recensione perché abbiamo provato piatti ottimi, con equilibri di sapori a mio modesto avvisto perfetti, accostamenti graditi con la giusta ratio che denota l'esperienza dello chef nel proporli. Ci ha fatto anche molto piacere il trattamento che hanno riservato per nostro figlio, nonostante il loro livello di ristorazione, lo hanno coccolato non facendogli mancare nulla. Complimenti a tutti per i piatti, per il servizio e per la cortesia. Ci rivedremo presto!!!
