It's impossible to go to Pisa without stopping for ice cream and in this ice cream shop it's excellent. The place is small but has outdoor tables.

It tastes like a mix of pistachio and hazelnut (I can't remember the name), and is savory like misut powder, so I recommend it. But sweeter than lupus

I did extensive ice cream tasting in Rome, Pisa, Cinque Terre and Florence. Always chocolate and pistachio. Having finished the trip, I can say that this was the best ice cream shop we went to, by far. Very creamy, good prices, incredible flavors. They were our star of the trip!

I may have my preferences, but I enjoyed it well. The owner, my grandfather, was also kind. It's not a store that deserves harsh reviews, but the recent reviews are disappointing. It was nice to get the price as it was on the menu.

Saw this place on tripadvisor as Pisa’s oldest ice cream place and highly recommend. It didn’t disappoint and very reasonably priced considering its rave reviews. €2.50 for a small cone of 2 flavours of which there was good options. They weren’t tight with the scoops either which was good to see. Really nice and highly recommended !!

Gelati con gusti assortiti, anche in mousse. Vaniglia vera, non crema spacciata per vaniglia. Ottimo, pulizia e gentilezza

25/05/2024: Nice experience. The risotto was simple but tasty. The price 9 euros per plate , no service charge. Tab water is for free which is awesome:)
24/05/2024: Got tomato risotto which was very nice & ragu. We then got florentine steak. All very tasty and good value for money!!

05/11/2023: The best ice cream that my husband and I ate during our two-week vacation in Tuscany :) The owner is very friendly and explained the different, unusual flavors to us in detail - even though we were only there shortly before closing time.
