La Cantina dei 3 Archi In Massa marittima

Absolute recommendation! The food was very tasty and the portions were generous. We ate two courses each and were already full after the pasta. The carbonara and the pappadelle with wild boar were outstanding. The calzones and shrimp were also delicious. The food is also reasonably priced. Definitely recommendable.

Restaurant in an excellent position, a few steps from the cathedral of Massa Marittima. Decent service, but dishes with some negative notes. Nothing to report on the tomato bruschetta taken as a starter and on the peasant soup, both presented, in their simplicity, good quality ingredients. I can't say the same about the second courses: we ordered a grilled chicken breast with potatoes and a stewed wild boar with potatoes. In both cases the dishes (including side dishes) seemed to have been previously cooked (perhaps frozen after cooking) and freshly reheated. A nice place for sure, but with a cuisine not up to the level of the location.

Truly excellent food and service

After visiting the beautiful town of Massa Marittima, we decided to stop for lunch at this little farmhouse. We took as an appetizer a cut of 0km cured meats and pecorino accompanied by honey and fig compote (which I recommend taking). As a first course we had the pappardelle with wild boar ragout. Amazing. Generous portion. Inside the cellar it is possible to buy typical products of the place, as well as of the region which the friendly owner will be able to explain to you in every characteristic. Prices absolutely normal. If this happens to you, absolutely stop.

In the center of Massa Marittima, very high quality, HACCP regulations, cleanliness, courtesy, etc. with 110 cum laude, academic kisses, honorable mentions. Among the best restaurants in the world. Straierr, highly recommended..!!!!!!
