From Friday 10 May 2024 Brasserie da Johan is located in Str. Vignolese, 1726, 41126 Modena MO.
In a historic building, Villa Aurora, Hohan has found the right place to let diners discover his French cuisine.
We tried the classics such as escargot and duck breast, but also a fantastic tasting of cheeses.
The “three-cooked” chicken was very tasty, but quite basic as a dish although the fries were fantastic.
We finished with a delicious chocolate mousse, soft, with a rich flavour, but presented a little like this, almost without giving it weight when in fact it was really good.
Some details to be completed (no coat hangers) and the paper runner on the table can be removed (not very useful and ugly).
Furthermore, Johan was extremely kind in asking how the dishes were, and the waitresses were very kind and courteous in their service.

Ristorante nella media, avevo aspettative piú alte ma è stata in ogni caso una bella serata.Gusto personale: la cucina italiana rimane imbattibile ;) ho voluto fare l'experience francese!
Sicuramente i prodotti sono buoni e ben preparati, la scelta del menu tuttavia è piuttosto ristretta e i piatti sono abbastanza banali.
Locale carino, abbastanza piccolo, con atmosfera gradevole.
Personale cordiale.

We went here to eat raclette after we were in France and tried it at a friends house and I have to say that it was a magical evening here that reminded us of the flavours. The staff is super welcoming and courteous and able to answer all your requests. The quality is truly exceptional, the cheeses are spectacular and the price is very reasonable for what you eat. Truly a little corner of France. A place truly recommended to everyone.
