I returned to the Maltese Cross in the company of friends after a few years and found, as first, excellent meat and excellent wine. we left fully satisfied.

I've known the place for many years and I must say that it never disappoints. The wine list is very well stocked and of excellent quality. Place also suitable for celiacs. Their strong points are the grilled meat and the cold cuts and cheese platter.

Posto molto carino, piccolo e rustico, sono stato qua con amici (ma ne avevo già sentito parlare bene in passato). Menù non troppo lungo, con focus sulla carne alla griglia di diversi tipi. Purtroppo per alcuni commensali non ci sono i primi sul menù ma hanno alcuni primi "del giorno" che vi dicono a voce prima di ordinare. Io ho preso la carne di agnello, molto buona, tenera e ben cotta. Se posso fare un piccolo appunto sulla serata, la cosa "storta" diciamo, è che sono molto lunghi nel servizio: abbiamo chiesto prima al cameriere la bottiglia di vino che avevamo ordinato in precedenza, e poi abbiamo "chiesto/sollecitato" per i piatti di carne.

Posto davvero spettacolare con carni strepitosa scelta di vini veramente immensa Non vedo l’ora di tornarci al più presto Erano anni che non mangiavo un filetto così tenero e succoso!
