Die Locando con gli Occhi befindet sich im Zentrum des traditionsreichen Ortes Aliano, Provinz Potenza. Seit vielen Jahren speisen wir dort nach dem Einkauf des örtlichen Olivenöls Ende Dezember. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet, die Bedienung durch den Wirt sehr freundlich, die Preise sind absolut ökonomisch. Jedes Jahr beeindruckt das Lokal durch den Weihnachtsschmuck des sog. Occhio, einer relativ tiefen Nische in der Rückwand, an deren Wänden zahlreiche Weinflaschen angebracht sind. In den vergangenen Jahren stand darin ein beleuchteter Christbaum, diesmal waren wir außerordentlich überrascht und beeindruckt von der schönen Krippe im Occhio. Es ist sehr zu empfehlen, nach der Besichtigung des Museo Carlo Levi und des Museo della Civiltà Contadina dort einzukehren.

I give 5 stars because you can't give more but this inn deserves all the stars in the firmament!!? We found ourselves passing through this small village in Basilicata today and Mr. Vincenzo delighted us with his dishes and his kindness. thank you thank you from the friends of Galatina (Le)
