I recommend and highly recommend for the food, very good, with great research into the products served, for the beers, not the commercial ones you find around, but also sought after, but above all for the atmosphere you experience, the courtesy and the kindness of the owners who pampered us and kept us company as has never happened to me in a restaurant... if you are around Altopascio or surrounding areas, go and eat at the Magione del Tau. We will be back for sure! Thanks for everything!

The place is welcoming and offers impeccable service for every need. I have been a regular customer since it opened and have always found full satisfaction. I can't mention a strong point because I've been there on many occasions and they've all satisfied me completely: - Aperitifs (where you can consume a wide choice of cocktails and craft beers accompanied by platters and delicacies) - Dinners (where you can eat gourmet burgers or cold dishes of monstrous goodness, with local ingredients of incredible quality) - After dinner (I've tried almost all of the vast range of liqueurs they offer, but they always have new ones) You spend little for the quality offered, so I highly recommend it. You can park in the surrounding areas and once there you can enjoy the beauty of the historic center. Don't miss a cold beer on a summer evening, in the shadow of the bell tower of Altopascio, it's a magical experience.

Family-run place attentive to customer needs. Not very large but with space also outside in the square for the summer. Excellent quality of food, good value for money. The burgers are great and served with chips by default.

Really nice staff. Many varieties of beer and burgers in all ways and for all tastes, even vegan. If there is, take the Nutella crumble. You won't be disappointed...

I, my family and my friends are now regular customers of the Magione del Tau. Always kind and friendly staff, excellent food, delicious buns (the best I've ever eaten!!) and a welcoming place. Highly recommended :)

Serata del 31/12. Posto accogliente. Personale davvero gentile e simpatico. Ottimo hamburger e tagliere di salumi tipici. Crostini davvero buoni. Ampia scelta di birre artigianali. Serata piacevole. Bella anche la musica.
