We were looking for a place to have lunch in Viterbo and it definitely went WELL. The place is suggestive, we had lunch outside under the arch from which the name of the restaurant probably derives. An enchanting place, friendliness and friendliness distinguish the guys who served us. The food was very good, as was the wine they offered us to accompany it. I recommend it to anyone looking for a place where they serve typical food (we had the acquacotta and it was very good).

Certainly an original culinary experience. Very well made dishes served in a particular outdoor setting. Very kind service.

I chose the Archetto restaurant to celebrate my birthday with my family and my daughter, we ate very well, genuine, quality dishes, super efficient staff, all kind and professional, I highly recommend it

What can I say, satisfied! This characteristic restaurant, in addition to the location, offers a service that I would say is impeccable. Excellent dishes, well served and definitely well prepared. The service was really good, the waiters were able to satisfy the requests and I must say also in a reasonable time. Finally a restaurant that has trifle as dessert! I absolutely recommend you come here. Thanks to all the staff. 😊

Informal trattoria with typical traditional dishes. Convivial and very nice environment, even if despite the reservation we were placed at a slightly unlucky table (far from the heaters with 8 degrees and in the middle of the passage). I chose to take the risotto because I wanted a good creamy risotto, but unfortunately the dish had not been creamed. Luckily we had some roast potatoes as a starter which were very good. My partner decided to get the oxtail and was very satisfied. We ended with a good tiramisu. The only shame was that we had to pay 2 euros cover charge each and waited about 30 minutes for the potatoes and another 15 minutes before receiving our dishes.

Typical trattoria offering traditional dishes. We ordered sautéed potatoes with garlic and rosemary, a oxtail and a risotto with spinach and hazelnut cream. The potatoes were very good as was the oxtail, really good. In my opinion the risotto was not a risotto and was not creamed at all; it was also a bit bland. To finish we had a tiramisu which concluded the dinner positively. The wait for both the potatoes and the first course was long, really long in my opinion. Furthermore, we had booked and they reserved a place for us outside (we were aware of this) but practically far from the heaters. Finally, I didn't think I would have to pay €2 each for a cover charge in a restaurant. I paid much less in a restaurant in Civita di Bagnoregio! Excellent value for money.

… il ns. caro amico di Vitorchiano, la Fraschetta di Jack è chiuso x cui inizio a scorrere i vari ristoranti di Viterbo x un pranzetto frugale Mi colpisce subito un piccolo locale nel centro di Viterbo x le sue tipicità locali, le frittelle di verdure, un pò come le nostre pittule salentine, spero, … mi incuriosisce tanto e prenoto, poi scopro che è addirittura un locale storico che ligio alle tradizioni, offre piatti tipici di grande qualità Il locale è piccolo ma decoroso, si respira aria di casa, fuori l’archetto con San Cristoforo e pochi tavoli, dentro garbo e antiques di foggia vera Le signore che gestiscono son gentilissime e cordiali e sei subito a casa loro per un pranzo feriale, senza fronzoli Ci fanno leggere il menù e poi ci raccontano qualche piatto Io sono sicuro e voglio assaggiare le frittelle di verdure, poi ci facciamo portare 2 primi da condividere Fieno con ragù di manzo, una pasta tipica Canepinese, un spaghettino molto fino, quasi capellino e l’Acquacotta del villano, una zuppa fatta con verdure selvatiche spontanee tipica di Viterbo con un bell’uovo poche a sormonto Mi faccio portare le clips e sporziono in 2 piatti come facciamo sempre, i primi sono veramente deliziosi, fatti a mestiere, ci accompagniamo con del rosso della casa Poi nello scorrere il menù mi salta alla vista uno dei mie piatti poveri preferiti, la Trippa Qui la fanno naturalmente alla Viterbese, (Ricetta di Nonna Venturina), come sarà, ci proviamo, ma questa non si divide, 2 piatti uno a capoccia Beh, la differenza con la trippa romana si sente, molto più zuppettosa, profumata di erbette fini ed il pecorino non riesce a legarla perfettamente, si farà così ma io un po’ di acquetta l’ho sentita, era piacevole, ma si sentiva che naturalmente era un prodotto prelavorato, un po’ sfatta come consistenza, al di là del normale tenore fibroso tipico della trippa Il mio amico dice sempre che la mia trippa non si batte e io onestamente devo dargli ragione, ma ci piace troppo e proviamo ad assaggiarla anche fatta da altri ed in modi diversi Poi zuppa inglese, molto molto buona, mancavo lo stato di crema bianca, ma quella al cioccolato era presente e non era nutella, che io personalmente odio, era ben bagnata di Alchermes ed la panna fresca la guarniva bene, ottimo dessert Poi caffè e amaro del Convivio, tipo amaro di zona, molto buono Complimenti!

In 4 ,un'acqua grande , 4 bottiglie di coca, un antipasto di formaggi e salumi misti, due primi di lombrichelli all'amatriciana, due canepinesi , tagliolini con carne di interiora di pollo, tre dolci e un caffè, tutto ottimo , poco più di 80 euro
