Break with a panoramic view Fantastic place overlooking the marble quarries. It is ideal for a lunch or snack break. We have been there twice. The first, we immediately purchased some local products, on trust, and given the time, we then thought of treating ourselves to a tasting of just lard. How tasty! The second time, more purchases and a snack break, this time with a platter of mixed cured meats. Mr. Mario, the owner, was really kind, he gave us advice on how to best enjoy everything we purchased and other niceties. Don't just stop for the tasting, but also buy the products that these people produce with long work, wisdom and sacrifice. Bring home a gift and let those who haven't stopped by here enjoy it yet. Only in this way, our culinary traditions are not lost. The place is truly unique, simple, without too many frills to attract tourists or unnecessary things. Basic, full of good things, a fantastic view and the smile and kindness of Mr. Mario. Should we return to Colonnata, we will always return here.

It is located near Massa Carrara, you arrive from the state road, passing by a nativity scene created by digging into the marble. Once you arrive at the car park you can reach it with a free shuttle that takes you to the village. We had an excellent aperitif, with typical cured meats, fried gnocco, mature cheese and prosecco. Everything fresh and delicious, I recommend it!..
