We had dinner sitting outside and inside it would probably have been impossible to talk given the high volume of the music. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was all delicious, from the starter to the dessert. I particularly recommend the chocolate cake with the soft centre.

A guarantee for our festive trips to Padua. Good, tasty food and carefully prepared dishes. Quick service but above all courteous, polite and helpful staff.

Nice meal. Very busy when we went there for lunch. It was clearly communicated that service might take a little longer, but this was not too bad. Good drinks menu and tasty dishes. Price and quality were in good proportion.

Place in a nice location. Very friendly and smiling staff, they found us a seat quickly even though the place was full for lunch and we hadn't booked. Excellent food. Genuine dessert. I would go back🥰

Quick lunch in this place recommended by an article in the Corriere della Sera. Upper room with simple table linen, the gratin of potatoes and broccoli lacked character in the flavours, perhaps better with less garnish and a sauce to match...the bigoli, unfortunately, after cooking or pre-cooked, ruined the good duck ragù...pity...good finally the creamy and tasty cod... bread basket with mignon slices... we asked for 3... chose half a liter of prosecco in a carafe... not up to 10 euros.... Chose not to take dessert... above average bill for the food. service quite fast even though there were stairs...

Al centro di Padova, nei pressi di piazza delle erbe, piccolo Ristorante con tavoli all'aperto dove ci accomodiamo. Tutto informale, con tovaglie e tovaglioli di carta. Buono il pasticcio di gelato, ricotta e mortadella, come gli scrigni cacio e pepe e i bigoli al ragù di anatra. Sbrigativo il servizio, prezzi in linea.

Non mi ha entusiasmato, la quantità era un po’ scarsa per quello che abbiamo pagato ma la qualità buona…tempi di attesa lunghi e abbiamo dovuto ricordare ripetutamente i nostri ordini ai camerieri.

15/04/2024: Ci siamo già andati parecchie volte, su consiglio del mio amico Carlo. Dopo avere girato per anni sui Colli Euganei, devo dire che Castegna è attualmente il nostro posto preferito. Ha una bellissima posizione in un antico casolare, con un tiglio secolare all'entrata, e un bellissimo glicine sul retro del ristorante. La cucina è quella tradizionale dei colli: antipasti (con l'immancabile soppressa con polenta), bigoli al ragù di anitra, grigliata mista, baccalà con polenta, "gaèto" ai ferri, costata. Buonissimo anche il tiramisù, e il prosecco. Non è nemmeno uno dei posti più gettonati sui Colli, quindi è facile trovare posto nell'ampia veranda all'ombra del tiglio. Bellissimo, consigliato vivamente!!
03/04/2024: Food very good (pizza, pasta, tagliata, freshly baked bread) and relatively cheap. The atmosphere is more like an old village inn, but the service is friendly (if a bit taciturn).

21/01/2024: It is a dated hotel in its structure, rooms a little old, breakfast with little choice. The restaurant's menu of the day is typical, very fast, food obviously prepared in the morning for the large number of people expected. Overall good value for money..
16/12/2023: Impromptu outing last night after the child's Christmas show. We had a great time, we found the fireplace lit, candles at the tables. Ordered 2 very good pizzas, the autumn one was a surprise, very good pizza makers, excellent choice of ingredients. Large and well-kept place Spacious and convenient parking Beautiful fireplace room Thanks to the staff who allow us to have such a place available.
