L'Orto del Cigno In Firenze

We decided to come with our family to eat at this restaurant on the recommendation of some friends... And I honestly have to say that it was a SUPER evening!!!! Excellent starters...fried flowers, coccoli and in particular a parcel called (nicely) "pfici en cips" Then we ordered the pizzas... or rather... the pizzoni (they are large pizzas on a cutting board, already cut into eight segments) with the possibility of choosing two different types of flavour... (for example, half Napoli and half Margherita) They don't make small pizzas, but only in exceptional cases... in fact, as there was a small grandchild... the waitress (Veronica) was very kind and helpful and told us that there would be no problem making one for the little one. Excellent draft beer and the bottle of Falanghina white wine brought with the cooler (great professionalism) Finally, the desserts could not be missing, truly excellent... with various choice options Normal prices taking into account above all the quality of the ingredients…….flours, tomatoes, mozzarella etc. In the end, compliments could not be missed to the owner of the restaurant Andrea, master pizza chef…. proud and passionate about his work... and also to Pino, the (sensitive) dining room manager who assigned us a quiet table for our family Angel🎶🎻🎵

Discovered by chance on holiday in Florence, absolutely recommended, especially the pizzona. To keep in the diary for a return to Florence. And to be recommended to anyone in the area.

From spring onwards finding parking becomes a lottery, but the pizzeria is good, the pizza is good even if I chose a spicy one which had nothing spicy, the service was good. It has a part dedicated to the garden, it is best to request it when booking.

I didn't like the obligatory pizzone very much, otherwise it was welcoming and good 🍕 🍕
