New Year's Eve at the property with overnight stay (two nights) + New Year's Eve dinner. We were a nice group of hikers, we had a very good time, a welcoming, well-equipped room, heated and with every comfort, including a corner to lounge while waiting for dinner. The friendly staff, the excellent cuisine. More than a refuge, it is a pleasant little hotel, located in a strategic position at the mouth of the valley that rises to the Gardetta plateau.

Warm and welcoming place, clean and tidy, the dream warm and clean room. The perfect dinner menu compliments to Schef. Thanks we will be back I recommend it

Un rifugio perfetto! Con un paio di amici abbiamo utilizzato questa struttura come punto di appoggio per conoscere la Valle Maira attraverso i suoi sentieri montani con viste stupende. L ottima impressione avuta al nostro arrivo è stata confermata anche durante la nostra permanenza: letti confortevoli, bagni comodi, pulizia approfondita, colazione varia , cena da leccarsi i baffi e personale molto gentile e attento. Torneremo sicuramente

Sosta obbligatoria per un buon caffè e tanti bei consigli da parte di Aurelio sui percorsi da poter fare in tutta la valle in base ai nostri gusti e alla nostra preparazione. Marta molto carina, solare e accogliente. Non ho visto dell'intero la struttura ma ho scelto di cenare una sera e lo consiglio a tutti!

We came from a long walk. Double room was nice and super clean and with a lot of attention to details. Dinner great. Staff superfriendly - thanks Aurelio for the advices and the very early coffee at 610 am despite kitchen/bar was closed…also thanks to marta which remind us that world is such a small place ;-)-

23/04/2024: Siamo stati a cena con una coppia di amici, atmosfera piacevole ed accogliente, buonissimi gli antipasti ma soprattutto eccezionale il filetto alla griglia, si scioglieva in bocca. Menzione d'onore anche al risotto al fondo bruno, il loro cavallo di battaglia. Tutto accompagnato dall'ottimo nebbiolo Palazzotto. Digestivi offerti

26/03/2024: I was yesterday on the day of the motorbike rally, ate well as usual but the appetizers were too cold. Negative note, I really noticed that they first served all the bikers under the cabaret then once they finished serving them then they started serving us inside, I think it's not enough professional given that the price was the same for both us and them. The excuse that the motorcyclists are in a hurry is a lie because once they finished lunch between 3.30pm and 4.00pm they would no longer go to the seaside or to the mountains. Instead of diverting all the waiters outside, it was enough to keep three inside and carry on with everyone's meals at the same time. If you increase a traditional lunch from 28 to 30 euros you must also increase the quality of the service otherwise you are just demonstrating that you want to make money. The biggest mistake is thinking that the customer is stupid, the customer is smarter than you and sees all the flaws
