We were in Caserta to visit the palace. We had lunch at home, on the bench in front of the restaurant. We took two mozzarella, a portion of aubergine parmigiana and a portion of Sorrento gnocchi. All very good, I recommend it!

Fried seaweed was amazing! The pasta was good, but maybe slightly too rich after more than 4 bites. I would recommend coming here, though. It's clearly handmade fresh with very good ingredients.

Excellent restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere that feels so much like home. There is a wide choice of first courses, including the classics of the Campania tradition and more innovative combinations. The portions are generous and tasty, the second courses are also very good, with a choice of both meat and fish, and the salads. The staff is courteous and helpful, and the price is honest. Absolutely recommended!

If you want to take a "journey" into tradition between location and food, the place is perfect... choice of top quality food, lovingly presented with simplicity. Friendly and helpful staff… the owners simply exceptional…

Before my trip to Salerno I came across this restaurant via the good reviews on the Fork and TripAdvisor and had been following them on social media for a while. The restaurant is easy to find about a 10 minutes walk from the station. I had the gnocchi zafferano e vongole and a side of grilled vegetables. The food was great and the staff was very patient with my pathetic Italian. Definitely worth the travel from the main station/Royal Palace area.

Appena arrivati a Caserta siamo stati accolti come ogni viaggio dalla nostra pioggia. Dovendoci riparare abbiamo subito scelto questo locale. La ragazza super accogliente ci mostra i menù ie ci consiglia su quale pasta scegliere. Abbiamo optato per tagliatelle funghi e salsiccia di maialino nero e friarielli crema di friarielii pomodori secchi e salsiccia. Nell attesa abbiamo preso anche delle patatine. Il tutto molto buono ben condito e abbondante. L unica pecca sono stati gli struffoli sia per la qualità che per il prezzo esagerato non visibile dal menu ( 8 euro ). Nel complesso una buona esperienza dove consiglio di fare una sosta se siete a Caserta.

11/03/2024: I searched for a while for a place nearby where I could taste truffles and porcini mushrooms (real ones) and a friend recommended this place to me. I was really very surprised and satisfied. I can't find any other words to describe what I felt at this farmhouse. Simple, unsophisticated location surrounded by nature (as it should be). Typical and genuine products (as it should be). Simple and impeccable service (as it should be). Friendly staff with infinite availability (as it should be). Absolutely honest prices (as it should be). It is practically impossible to find a flaw. The truffle is TOP. I thank Carmine, Matteo and Enzo who, with their professionalism and hospitality, gave us a very pleasant Sunday. Keep it up. Super recommended.

Ristorante Ruru'

03/04/2024: A restaurant that combines the value of local products with certainly interesting and refined preparation. The environment is informal and, especially in the warm months, the view pleasantly accompanies the tasting. Friendly and punctual service.
02/04/2024: Simply BRAVI, my wife and I left Campobasso on Easter Monday to go and discover this beautiful restaurant, the first thing you notice is the welcome, the kind ways, the education... in short they make you feel important, the dishes then, the risotto with butter and cardoncelli is simply fantastic... we will definitely be back
