Fantastic low key meal. This was the best vodka sauce I’ve had in a long time and the eggplant Parm was lights out. Highly recommend checking it out.

The food and service were both great. It was a bit hard for us to get to the place because of parking limitations in the area would suggest to use a taxi. The tortellini were amazing and the Ruota out of this world! Highly recommended.

The food at Casa Merlò is definitely okay. Nothing special, but good! But throughout our entire stay, we couldn't shake the feeling that we were being rushed.
The reasonably good Le Armi, 2019, was unfortunately too warm and had to be put in the ice bucket. But as soon as the wine was in the bucket, the pasta was already on the table - even though we had signaled to the waiter that we had eaten lunch late and weren't very hungry.
From a restaurant of this caliber, we would expect more in terms of service.

A bit dark environment but excellent food, the poldino the real surprise, if I had known I would have opted for the "experimental" menu, two of us had 1 poldino, 2 tagliatelle with meat sauce, 2 Bolognese cutlets, 2 waters and 2 coffees for a total of €91 (€3 cover charge/bread per person).

My family and I were guests and the experience was perfect, from the colorful environment to the management of the booking, to the last minute we called and they welcomed us cordially. Excellent food, fair prices. Next time in Bologna and we will be back with pleasure!

Abbiamo mangiato a pranzo ci sono più menù la traduzione..innovazione ..e vintage...tove trovi le penne alla wodca...quello che abbiamo mangiato era fatto bene e buono ..anche una lasagna alla zucca! La cotoletta alla bolognese..fatta bene ! Anche per i dolce c'è della innovazione! Uno zabaione.. rivisitato....molto buono! Servizio cordiale e molto simpatici! Dove abbiamo riso per piccoli errori di servizio! Lista dei vini liquori e distillati..immensa! Prezzo più da ristorante che da trattoria!

Finalmente un locale che esula dalle tante fotocopie della tradizione bolognese per rivisitare la proposta gastronomica felsinea con delle introduzioni intelligenti e NON scontate permettendo alla cucina di elevarsi. Non è scontato infatti trovare una lista come quella di Casa Merlò, particolarmente a Bologna dove la ristorazione sembra ferma agli anni ‘70. Gradevole e accogliente il locale, gentilissimo il giovane personale di sala e conto onesto. Vi tornerò di sicuro.
