Monsu' In Ragusa

A shop you definitely want to stop by when you come to Ragusa. All the dishes are of high quality, but the stewed tripe is impressive.

It was a great dining experience. Customer service and explanations were thorough. The interior, layout, and setting of the store were also good. The cuisine was an international fusion of North African, French, and Italian cuisine. I would love to come again!

What a gem in the heart of Ragusa Ibla! The owner, Héloïse, was so friendly and awaited everyone with a smile that instantly made you feel very welcomed. The interior is decorated in such a subtle vintage way, but definitely not lacking elegance. The food is pricier, but in my opinion it is justified as it is a fine dining experience. We ordered fish menu degustazione + 3 glasses of wine (78€ per person), and the food was so fresh, with only few ingredients yet delicious and presented in a modern way. Totally recommended if you’re looking for a full fine dining experience in Ragusa!

Appena varcata la soglia d'ingresso del Monsu' sembra di entrare in un'altra dimensione nonostante si trovi nella bellissima ed affascinante Ragusa Ibla. Le luci rilassanti, il pregio degli arredi, la musica appropriata in sottofondo, l'ambiente intimo e riservato, la mise en place raffinata ed elegante. Ma le pur già notevoli premesse passano quasi in secondo piano nel momento in cui, attraverso un servizio di altissimo livello, giungono al tavolo i vari piatti: essi consistono tendenzialmente in una cucina fusion ibleo-francese e mai scelta sembrò più azzeccata! E' evidente il notevole studio relativo all'equilibrio di ogni piatto, alla scelta della corretta materia prima e della sua preparazione. Carta dei vini variegata ma che denota attenzione e cura nella selezione delle cantine. Prezzi allineati alla qualità.
