11/05/2024: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ and 1/2 for this small tavern near the center of Treviso. We had dinner there this evening and if you are looking for an undemanding place where you can eat easily and well, this is for you. It bothered me a little not being able to eat outside, but being a non-smoker, the only free table at the moment was near another one where they smoked a lot and not wanting to ruin the taste of dinner, we opted for an outdoor seat. 'internal. It's small inside, there are 4-5 tables, it could have been more intimate than it actually was, but there was a rather noisy table near us. The proposals are very varied, from vegetarian dishes to fish and meat ones. For those wishing to anticipate dinner with an aperitif, various freshly prepared crostini are offered and updated with each change of season. For dinner we chose a couple of appetizers, a potato, asparagus, courgette and herb pie on a fennel sauce, while my husband a platter of Black Angus smoked with beech wood and Varzi DOP salami which he greatly appreciated. We then continued with a second course each, for me pan-fried octopus on cream of potatoes with turmeric, for my partner sorana tartare, honey mustard and side dish of the day. Overall we ate well, prices in line with what was offered. We will probably return but at a different time. I would suggest replacing pet water bottles with glass bottles or in any case with a different styling, to date there are really many proposals even if you want to stick to plastic; the ones from this evening just couldn't be seen....
