Exquisite dinner with local proposals, excellent quality food starting from the delicious and surprising 'Tegamino greedy', up to the strawberry panna cotta, passing from a fettuccine with pepper sauce with a strong and balanced flavour. Even from a visual point of view everything was enticing and elegant. Friendly and warm service, right wait even though we showed up at a time when the place was full. Last gem: we were reserved a secluded table in a very nice little room, with an arched ceiling and far from the larger tables. If you are in Pistoia Cucine & Pensieri you shouldn't miss it!

It's a shame there aren't half marks, the current rating for me is 4 and 1/2 stars because there's still something missing to reach the maximum. Perhaps the New Year's Eve evening was misleading to discover this restaurant, usually it is the more anonymous evenings without anniversaries that give greater prominence to the quality of the place and the food. The owner, an exquisite, friendly person and excellent cook, was jovial right from the start and this makes the meal even better. We enjoyed really good starters and first courses based on mushrooms and truffles; the wild boar is excellent according to my family. The cost was a little expensive, but we must take into account that it was New Year's Eve and the quality of the materials used. When I pass through Pistoia again I will return for the 5 stars!

01/05/2024: Nice, welcoming and well-furnished place, right in the city centre. Friendly and prepared service, slightly slow, due to the large number of people who frequent the place. Good food and drinks. Advised!
29/04/2024: Unfortunately I have no good news regarding dinner. Personally I had a bruschetta, a first course and dessert I must say that the bruschetta was top notch. Excellent and appetizing. The first was overcooked and tasteless. It didn't feel like eating tortelli with cherry tomatoes etc... I honestly don't even remember what else was there. The dessert...painful. A Catalan perhaps at least 2 days old, it was lumpy and mostly cold. The Catalan is famous because it is served hot and flambéed at the moment to make it tasty and that is its peculiarity, otherwise I would have a cream ice cream, right? Disappointing. Nothing stuck with me I would add, after your response, that the creme brulee had just come out of the fridge with a cold crust and not, as you say, hot on top and cold on the inside. I'm not an expert on creme brulee but I know how to distinguish a good dessert from a mediocre one.
