Maybe I had too many expectations being there for the first time for my wedding anniversary. Maybe we were on the wrong day. I start with the waits being a little too long, both for the starter, which was excellent, and between one course and another. Way too long... According to those who asked for them, the psarei were as delicious as the butter and sage tortelli. With anolini, however, we are not there. I'm used to completely different fillings... The broth, which I like to finish right down to the last drop, was totally bland. I had to leave it all. The second courses, the cheeses and pork cheek were highly appreciated. The Little Horse is a little less so. My steak was a little cold and the potatoes were undercooked. The price, with -30% of the fork, I would say is fair. I'm sorry because I had read excellent reviews, maybe I really had the wrong day.

Arriving by chance, it was actually 1.30pm and the two hungry children in the car forced us to exit at a toll booth on the motorway unknown to us to find a place to stop for lunch. Small streets, houses, luckily a beautiful sun and here the cutlery icon on google maps takes us into a neighborhood with a lot of parked cars. I enter this tavern and am greeted by a cheerful and warm fire that animates the entrance and after a while the lady arrives and seats 4 of us at their last available table. The menu is varied, typical local dishes, suitable for all tastes. We start with a truly delicious fried gnocco appetizer accompanied by fresh and fragrant cold cuts and then share with the children a portion of really good pasta with meat sauce, and a plate of truly inviting tortellini. We opted for an excellent risotto with saffron and ossobuco, and a splendid cut with potatoes and herbs. Good food, all the flavors balanced well, warm, pleasant and quiet atmosphere.
