Very welcoming place, genuine cuisine of the past, fabulous and kind staff. Mrs. Addolorata is fantastic! Amazing dining experience! 6 STARS!!!!!!!

Located in the historic center of Torre Orsaia, this ancient trattoria is the reflection of the person who runs it. Mrs. Addolorata, who, despite her name, has a unique sweetness and friendliness to describe. And so everything revolves around this almost mythical character: the pasta is all rigorously handmade by her. Lagane with chickpeas, gnocchi with meat sauce and wonderful ravioli filled with ricotta with a very light citrus aftertaste and very light pastry that melts on contact with the palate. There is no starter but this is intentional because it would not make you fully appreciate the pasta dishes. Among the second courses, only simple stuff but with a genuine flavour: chicken, rabbit and the classic stewed meatballs. Old-fashioned stuffed aubergines and pan-fried vegetables. A pleasant house red and to finish the pancakes made of simple flour and water covered with honey produced in the area. At the end of the meal, after having spoken with Mrs. Addolorata who personally checks whether everything was to your liking, the amount paid will make you understand that you have truly landed in an enchanted place where time has stopped. I advise you to stop by if you are in the area by calling to book given the capacity of the place and it will certainly become one of your favorite destinations in Cilento

The real village tavern!! Real flavors, homely atmosphere, walls full of photos of dear family memories, excellent ravioli with ricotta and zeppole with honey. We had to return to taste the meat but the holiday flew by quickly!!! Really modest prices... but we will be back very soon .

Titolare spettacolare una nonnina simpaticissima

È difficile trovarsi a proprio agio in un posto dove sei stato per la prima volta, la Sig. Addolorata con la sua collaboratrice sono simpaticissime, i piatti semplici ma con un gusto antico, proprio come a casa di " mamma " devo dire proprio che farò volentieri i 100 km che mi separano da Torre Orsaia ma tornerò sicuramente.

Una piccola osteria che racchiude tutto l'amore, la passione e la tradizione che la Sig. Addolorata trasmette attraverso i suoi piatti. Dai gustosi e morbidi cavatielli al sugo, al cinghiale in umido. Per non parlare degli scauratieddi ( tipiche zeppoline fritte e servite calde con il miele). Si respira aria di rara semplicità e immensa qualità. Sicuramente sarà meraviglioso ritornarci...❤️

Un' esperienza imperdibile. La cucina casalinga del Cilento di cent'anni fa. Indescrivibile, una tempesta di sapori, alle radici della civiltà mediterranea. Se non provate, non saprete mai cosa vi siete persi.
