Small, welcoming place. Fast service, great food not too expensive.
Maybe a couple less seats would help with privacy.
I can recommend it and recommend booking as it was full during my visit. Even if it's a working day.

Easter lunch in this place on the banks of Trieste. The place is not very big, pleasantly vintage, without pretensions. I ate from appetizer to dessert, and it was all good. Special mention for the spaghetti with clams, truly excellent. I chose the house wine for wine, but they also have an interesting and surprisingly well-stocked, quality wine list. Average prices, trending upwards, but it was Easter and that's okay.

This is how you imagine an Osteria in Trieste 👍. The selection and quality of the antipasti could hardly be better. The fish soup was great. The service was excellent. Of course the open Prosecco and the espresso too.🥂There were four of us and we hadn't made a reservation. But the server organized a great place for us. We'll definitely be happy to come back.

A charming, rustic Osteria, furnished in the late formica style, authentic local cuisine, very tasty, friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere. The wine selection is appealing and the prices are moderate. This is how Osteria should be!

If you want to eat excellent quality fresh fish in Trieste, this tavern is for you! Tried it during a trip with friends, I was pleasantly surprised. The place is small, very intimate near the sea, and almost feels like being at home. The food was really very good. Pappardelle alla Busara divine. The baby octopus with polenta, light and tasty, melted in your mouth. Everything really high quality. Congratulations to everyone, I hope to return!

On the third attempt we finally managed to get a table. A nice northern Italian restaurant with very friendly staff. Wonderful antipasti and an excellent fish soup. You won't be disappointed with dessert either.
The next time we visit Trieste, we will try to get a table again.
Went to the restaurant again at the beginning of March and this time I couldn't miss the wonderful fish soup.

Ci siam stati quasi per caso. Gli antipasti buoni, ma si puó far meglio. Pasta alla busera ottima e moscardini in umido davvero buoni. Consiglio di andarci, é buono, ma tralasciando gli antipasti

Very good straight forward seafood osteria just up from the main seafront promenade.
Selection of anti pasta, followed by very good seafood pasta or gnocci, and seafood mains.
Quite small, so dont expect to be able to walk in straight off the street without booking first.
