Tavern atmosphere from times gone by, few but good dishes. The braised agnolotti had the same flavor as the ones my grandmother made at home.

We felt at home. We will definitely return with the whole family and dog in tow!

Ristorante veramente buono non sarà chic ma si mangia bene e a prezzi più che onesti Una vera Osteria con una cucina casalinga e molto gradevole di tipo casalinga, ci torno sempre volentieri quando passo da Casteggio. Consigliata a tutti quelli che vogliono mangiare bene senza spendere una esagerazione.

Questa è L’OSTERIA che tutti abbiamo nel Cuore. Qui in Oltrepo’Pavese non ce ne sono più così autentiche e genuine. I piatti del territorio sono a km 0 così come l’ottimo vino. La cucina autentica e sana della tradizione. Personalmente ho provato una Trippa così buona che non provavo da molti anni . La polenta le carni, i primi. Tutto ciò che trovi ti fa sentire bene e accolto. Persino il caffè con i brasadé come a casa dei nonni. Anche i più piccoli desideri trovano qui il luogo perfetto. Il costo del pranzo è assai modesto vista la qualità e la quantità delle pietanze. Il servizio semplice e amichevole ha sempre accolto le nostre richieste. Questa atmosfera familiare ti fa sentire in famiglia e per niente un estraneo e ciò rende l’atmosfera ancora più accogliente . Non e’ certo strano quindi che il Vecio Alpin sia diventato un luogo del cuore per molti.
