Small tavern in Castel San Pietro. Large car park nearby from which you can reach the tavern in just a few steps. Delightful, warm and welcoming environment. Excellent food. Tortellini in broth, sublime polenta and spectacular venison, exquisite mutton... Excellent final price.. Congratulations. Really

What can I say... found it totally by chance we decide to try it. To begin with, the manager is extremely friendly but not servile, we are more than happy to have a chat. The food however....stratospheric, we took two different starters as we were two omnivores and two vegetarians. We had a starter of pussy and mixed cured meats while the ladies had cheeses and jams. All very delicious. Followed by two vegetarian first courses, the no-meat choice varies, while we had polenta with venison and it was delicious. The wives were also extremely satisfied but I don't remember them eating. To drink a house Sangiovese. To close the cantucci with vinsanto and grappina marbida. All for just over €100. I'm sure we'll be back!!!!!

Amazing food! Very authentic with freshly prepared ingredients. The owner was very kind to us offering us excellent recommendations! We enjoyed our evening with some red housewine and a first course each and a second to share. I would wholeheartedly recommend trying the Friggione as a side (best side dish I’ve eaten in a long time). The atmosphere was very quiet, no music playing and the other customers we’re also very respectful of talking quietly - although we weren’t used to that, we enjoyed having a peaceful evening with amazing food :)

Tavern from a bygone era
By booking personally, we were able to appreciate the simplicity of the place and the friendliness of the owner.
He immediately inspired us with confidence, and we took advice on the first courses, handmade tortellini in broth, excellent!
For the second course, however, we chose a typical dish based on grilled lamb, with a strong, tender and tasty flavour. All accompanied with an excellent Lambrusco.
Simple environment, deliberately sized to guarantee professionalism and quality to its customers. Minimum waiting time required for preparing dishes. We will definitely be back on our next trip and stop in Castel San Pietro Terme!

Second courses, side dishes and desserts are very good but the best part are the handcrafted first courses of the highest quality

Ti senti a casa...Mangiando cibo di alta qualità..Polenta fritta frittelline salumi tutto delizioso e poi i tortellini fatti in casa piccolissimi ma altrettanto buonissimi!!!!Servizio eccellente con padrone di casa super!!!Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo!
