Osteria La Torre In Due carrare

May 1st. Everywhere around us was rightly closed for Labour Day to give working people a break. We took a punt on the only nearby restaurant we thought might be open for lunch and it was an absolute delight. Packed with locals in holiday mood dining on a lovely terrace - great atmosphere, delicious simple food, lovely house wine by the jug and unbelievably good value. Grill supremo Jimmy was a great host and despite our woeful lack of Italian gave us a warm welcome as well as limoncello shots on the house. Completely made our day - grazie mille!

Good food, we went with a large group and they put us in a room just for us, nice but definitely in need of sprucing up.

Il cibo era buono ma tiepido pieno di aglio,prezzi troppo alti 1 litro di prosecco alla spina 10 euro un esagerazione vista la qualità... personale gentile
