A truly worthwhile culinary experience! We stopped off on the way back from vacation and were not disappointed. Fine dining and at the same time not overly pretentious. Anyone who goes out to eat at a star level every now and then knows that the prices are absolutely justified. Anyone who is very hungry and wants a lot on their plate for their money is fundamentally wrong here, because the Finsterwirt isn't about getting full.

The weather was cruel. Storm, cold, rain. But the food in the restaurant was very good. Likewise the wine.

The place is enchanting, a rustic and well-kept place, a beautiful terrace. You can enjoy refined, high quality dishes, beautiful to look at but above all to eat. The service is pleasant, attentive and friendly. We'll be back.

Really excellent food, almost Michelin star, worth trying. Very good service, but could be improved a bit. I had the 5 courses and I must say they were all excellent! Definitely worth trying.

Delicious gourmet cuisine / the best address in Bressanone (deserves a star for the cuisine). Very nice wine list. Historic and chic setting. Impeccable service. The only negative point if you want to find one; sitting on a wooden bench (which respects the historic side of the place) which is not very comfortable.

Cena di Capodanno! Portate ricercate e veramente buone, da ripetere! Prodotti di qualità e tavola ben curata nei particolari (solo la tovaglia presentava una piega che poteva essere evitata)

Decidiamo di prenotare in questo ristorante in occasione del pranzo del 1° gennaio. Ottimo punto per poi partire a visitare la bella Bressanone. Le nostre aspettative sulla cucina sono state confermate. A dire il vero in un piatto sono state abbondantemente superate: Gnocchi al formaggio fresco, burro nocciolato salvia e zucca …. E C C E Z I O N A L I ! Locale storico con una tradizionale atmosfera altoatesina che è la giusta cornice ad una giornata speciale. Forse il menù è un po’ corto, ma se poi le poche cose si fanno in maniera eccellente, allora tutto è concesso.

20/05/2024: If you plan to stay in San Candido this is the right place for you. You will find a rare dedication to work from all employees, which is rare nowadays. More than a staff they all seem to be part of a big family. We stayed in standard room 402, an excellent room, bright, clean and equipped with everything, the room also has a small comfortable terrace for storing things. A round of applause also to the waiters at breakfast and dinner service, friendly but highly professional. We have recently started to frequent the area but we have already found the Post hotel as our starting point for our future stays. We will definitely see each other again (I hope in September 🤞🏻) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
31/03/2024: We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The family atmosphere made our vacation particularly pleasant. The entire staff was extremely courteous and was always available to help and advise. The food was simply delicious, with a diverse selection of dishes to please every palate. The rooms were beautifully furnished and offered the perfect retreat after an eventful day. The wellness area was simply great, the sauna and the pool invited you to relax. All in all, an absolutely recommendable hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay! We will come back in any case!

15/04/2024: We ate very well! Really friendly owner and welcoming restaurant. I highly recommend!
06/04/2024: We went to Costabella because it was recommended by our host but after our first visit we just had to come back. Costabella is the loveliest restaurant with the most amazing food and the atmosphere is just immaculate. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Selva Gardena!
