Fell like a proper Italian home food , must try it

We came to visit our daughter as she is studying abroad. We found the best Chicken parmesan I’ve ever had in my entire life here. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality and the delicious food. We will be back.!!

Ah,this was a fantastic experience! We went there the first night and the last of our stay in Florence. So great to meet passionate foodies Martin and Gianni took such good care of us. Recommending dishes and wine.

Amazing dinner experience in Fiorenze! The server MARTIN made the dinner experience outstanding. He was super friendly and treat our party as his family. Would recommend for anyone looking for a great dinner experience in the center of Firenze.

We went Pietro and Gianni took such care with our group of 6, felt like we were family. We had Mushroom Strudel (may sound odd) and Grilled Artichokes to start - both incredible. Second plate we share some Pici and Ravioli, again great. At our table one had, veal, 3 had the sea bass and the boys had the steak. All unreal, fries are a must as well. We were there for more than 2.5 hrs as we just enjoyed and took our time, could be quicker, but on our rainy Florence evening it was absolutely perfect. Thank you Gianni!

This friendly, local restaurant is our go-to in Florence. Long-time locals mix with savvy tourists in order to get their helping of delicious traditional Tuscan food alongside expertly selected wines. You can spend a little or spend a lot, but whatever you do, you won't leave hungry. Sometimes, the bon vivant owner, Gianni, will select the menu for us (and blow us away), and other times, Pietro (long-time Accademia waiter) will give his expert suggestions. Favourites? Pear and percorino salad, spinach and ricotta ravioli, the mushroom streudel, grilled artichokes (sooo good) and whatever fish dish they have that day. My friends rave about the meat: veal, the steak fiorentino, osso bucco, and the salumi. At Ristorante Accademia, everyone is treated like a treasured guest, and they truly want you to leave happy. This keeps us going back time and again.

Con un gruppo di amici ho fatto la mia prima esperienza di una cena in questo ristorante fiorentino che personalmente in questi ultimi tempi non avrei scelto sia a causa della sua non semplice raggiungibilità dovuta ai lavori per la tramvia in piazza San Marco sia per aver letto alcune recensioni molto negative su Tripadvisor. Di fatto l’esperienza è risultata molto buona e, a mio avviso, condivisibile con la stragrande maggioranza dei recensori che circa nove volte su dieci hanno espresso valutazioni di molto buono od eccellente. E’ un locale accogliente, ben arredato, con uno staff cortese e disponibile. Abbiamo mangiato piatti molto ben curati e cucinati alla perfezione (favolosi i tortelli al basilico ripieni di pappa al pomodoro) con decisi apprezzamenti da tutti i componenti del nostro gruppo. Menu molto ampio ed interessante a prezzi onesti.

This restaurant was recommended by our tour guide and it was excellent, exactly what we were looking for. We sat outside with other diners seated very close to us on either side, but it was fine and quite jovial. The food and wine choices were plentiful and the pizza we ordered was very very good ! Service was excellent and the waiter went way out of his way to accommodate people and their requests. He even ordered a taxi for the couple next to us and helped them to the car when it came. I would highly recommend this spot if you need a place after seeing David.
